Is a curly mohawk easy to do?

Can you describe how to do it or point me to the easiest videos? My sister never saw me do no Mohawk and have the nerve to ask me to do a curly Mohawk for her birthday! Who do she think I am? I am style challenged! I can't even pin my hair up in a simple curly ponytail! But then again maybe I can do someone else's... HELP! I don't want to look like a amateur! I need to get one of those doll heads...

My "mohawk" is super easy to do. I'll post pics tomorrow when I do my hair.

All I use is two hair combs, gel, and a day old twist out

Borderhammers "My Fist Daily Natural Hair Routine" video is pretty much how I do my hair and achieve a simple 10 second mohawk style

Banana clips are the easiest way to a mohawk.

I was thinking just brush both sides to the side, apply some jam/ gel and banana clip, it sounds simple but simple things turn out to be difficult for me

I styled mine with combs. These photos are from 2008:

But being that her hair is relaxed I'm scared the curls won't hold too much, will be using ecostyler for hold

Oh, I see. Maybe a pinned/clipped up straw set and some light hair spray to set it? That's the only thing I can think of right now. Sorry, I don't even know how to style my own hair :/

I used to do a flexirod set (with diluted setting spray) and do a curly mohawk that way. It was super easy to do...just took a lot of time.

I put my hair up with several ponytail holders. My hair is thick so you don't even notice that it's just several ponytails at the top of my head.

We go hard on these Innanets

I do these regularly with Bobby pins. I love it. It's a quick easy style with little effort

Easy for you to do... Not my disabled styling self! So you must can pin up into a curly ponytail?

Everytime I try to pin hair up the pins are exposed or it just doesn't look right

I pin my hair close together and let the curls fall over the pins (I do this on my natural curls btw) I have done it with curling iron curls before and it came out nice though. I don't have any pics of my natural curls in a Mohawk but might have some of the other one
