infomercial mayhem

ok so I'm layin here watchin hallmark channel (yep its another exciting saturday night for me...sarcasm) when this commercial comes on for the "twist n clip". My go to style is a half up half down so I can keep hair off my face but I'm tired of those claw clips. So I see this commercial... sigh. In typical infomercial style its corny & dramatic but I'm actually considering buying it.

I think those tattletail dangling thingys are cute that come with it too. On tv I actually saw the shorter version of the commercial but this is the one I found on youtube:

Feedback please. U all may be saving me from another potential purchase fiasco. lol

you r feeding my addiction! The only thing I'm hesitating about is the thick haired example is about 1/2 of the size of my ponytail when I flip it up. My hair might laugh at this toy. Imma need someone with more texture to try this.

I could see a fine haired relaxed person wearing these though.

I remember this commercial....I wanted one but it looks dangerous. What if I'm cuddling with my man and it stabs him in the face?!!!! Let me know if its sharp when you get yours WyrdWay

They got shipped today. I ordered from As Seen on TV .com because the actually website for them wanted me to pay double to have an extra set sent+ shipping for each set seperately, plus it would take 4 to 6 weeks to ship.

So I said screw that noise.

Hopefully they will be here before the end of the week. I will try them and post some photos.

I just got them in the mail, they are pretty freaking sharp, I don't think I wouldn't sleep on an Air mattress with one in, or with someone else in the bed with me.

The opening where your hair would fit isn't very big bit I managed to get my hair up with one in a french roll(twist). But you have to bend the straight piece quite a bit, which only leaves a small amount of th pointy bit hanging out of the end.

Oh and mine have flash on them, which I will be filing off D:

Here is a photo of the flash, I will take more photos soon.

They don't point towards the wearer.
The end is pointing at my 7 o'clock, I imagine if I were to hug someone taller than me I might put their eye out. I'm going to file the pointy end down.
I wore one in a half up all night at work and it did fine.

In the commercial it looks like the clip is made of wire with a coating kind of like a flexirod. But these are just hard plastic. They feel like cheap coat hangers only a little bit more flexible.

This kind of shows how they hook to them selves. I imagine that they would slip out if the hair was much thicker that a denman brush
