Pageant Hair

Ok ladies I have a pageant in September and I was going to get a sew in and still may if I can get someone to do it. If not what are some options you ladies think would work. I was thinking my trusty fall back a wig but I don't want any slipping. I know I will need length because my hair is just too short and non pageant flattering. When I think pageant I think big hair esp since I'm in Texas. I have been holding out on doing this thread for many reasons. I'm doing it now since my pageant will be here in 2 months from tomorrow.

TIA

You should pull some photos online band find the style you want first then find the technique. Good luck!

I'm a pageant girl myself and I think that if you're not comfortable wearing your real hair, then you should go for a sew-in in a length that's flattering and suits your own style. Whatever you do, stay far far away from hard and stiff up-dos that require lots of gel and spritz. You want your hair to flow, especially when you walk, and I think a good sew-in, lace-front or partial wig will do the trick. HTH! :)

Thank you ladies. I happened to be digging around in my wig bin and found my old fall back Model Model Carmen wig. It has good body and full bang so I will just have to wear enough bobby pins to make it work.

Good luck with the pageant! I agree with the above, flowy hair looks best when you're walking!

Congrats on the pageant. You'll have to PM me and tell me which one and more about it. But I'm thinking a sew-in because the look will be more natural

Good luck girl! A good quality wig will do the trick as long as it's secure. Like another poster said, stay away from hard, stiff styles and go for styles with natural body/volume and soft flowy curls :yep:
