Hi All,

I was just gonna bump a previous thread up but I decided that a sale this good deserves a thread of it's own.

The entire Shea Moisture line is Buy one Get one free at CVS now through September 8th, 20102.

If you order online, it's 25% off but you won't be able to get the BOGO that way.

Has anybody had trouble submitting your order? When I try to submit I just get a blank page and if I reload it goes back to my cart. Been trying since last night.

My local CVS has the product in stock but have not placed on shelf-NO SPACE- and told me to check back on Friday and if product are sold out ask for a rain check.

I went to a 4th one tonight and they only have 3 labels none of them being the smoothie or the souffle. I will keep checking... SO probably thinks im having a late night rendezvous with the way i ran out to get there before they close. lol

If you spend $50 you can get free shipping. Use code SHIPORDER. It will take off 20% off of a $50 order and give you free shipping.

HairPleezeGrow, I asked a clerk at one I went to ans she said they get trucks on Sundays.

But everywhere I've went the products I wanted were not available. So I got a rain check. Sadly online is sold out of the curling souffle and the moisture mist is nowhere to be found on the website. I might just buy the style milk offline and try some more stores for the other two. If not I have mah rain check!

Tricking the president
so my local CVS guy gave me the rain check on Saturday night before the sale even started cause the smoothie wasnt even in stock. Happened to stop by another CVS a few blocks down that had only 2 smoothie's left so got the BOGO (without spending anything out of pocket I might add :look: ) With fall/winter coming up I'm mostly gonna be braided up under wigs so I think I'll just be using the smoothie as a moisturizer for now, not really to twist. Smells awesome too

This is waaay OT but in August, I met the owners/founders of Shea Moisture at my Dh's high school reunion. They are Liberians and really nice guys. Let's support a black owned business ladies!!!!

That CVS is selling out is a good thing. I think some stores reluctantly carried the product. With them selling out, Shea Moisture is proving to CVS they do have a market for their products in their stores :yep:

I saw the products hidden away on an end-cap a month before the sale. The prices were higher than what I could get in Walgreen and Target. Glad to see Shea Moisture has a strategy and it appears to be a successful one.

ugg this is sold out everywhere. So I found one store in BK that just had the shampoo so I decided I would get that and then try to exchange one shampoo for a conditioner at another stores.

The stores in Manhattan are no having the sale because its a different district, Manhattan and BK never have the same exactly sales at the same time. So I go to a CVS that has a ton and they would not exchange the one bottle!!!! So frustrated. I am going to another today and just going to ask upfront what can they do.

If they don't accept that you want to exchange just one bottle then return both and get your money back. Then if they have what you want then buy that on BOGO because I think since it's BOGO they will not just take one back and give you another because one was free and the one you want to get from them would need to be paid for. I'm pretty sure that is why they won't exchange one at a different store.:nono:

Yeah what I did was buy two at full price. Then when I go back to BK I can return both and buy them back at BOGO price. I've done this before because for some reason BK/Queens always had better sales. I forgot how I usually work their system lol

Woo Hoo! So I went to the closest CVS by my house and of course they didn't really have anything (let's just say my neighborhood is melanin-challenged lol) so I went to the next one and they had the 4 products I like to use: Curl-enhancing smoothie, anti-breakage mask, deep treatment masque and the curl & style milk, for about $30...the price points are so much higher here, but it worked out being $7.50 a product.

The BEST thing about it was that the sweet clerk gave me a raincheck with no quantity, so I can go back whenever I want and get as much as I want of any of the Shea Moisture products. So that was really nice.

I am soooooooooo excited, shea moisture are the BEST products for my hair, that I have found so far.
