My hair is going to have to get used to being straightened, but anyway, this was how I planned on wearing my hair to work:

But after moving here and there around the house getting ready for work, the waves straightened and this is how I ended up wearing it:

I'd like to see the video. Why don't you like it. You should wear it like it is in the picture. Actually blowdried hair is versatile, so you could wear it anyway you like. 4 large bantu knots (secure w/pony sox pontail holder), or 4 large braids or twists and do an awesome "out" style. Or you can put it in med/large (or small if you like) twists or braids. So much to do.

My hair didn't look the same recording vs uploading the video. It actually looked very stringy when I played it on my computer. :/ I may just release it anyway.

I am thinking about using a totally different straightening/heat protectant product the next time I straighten.

OMGee!!!!! Your hair is beautiful Bubblingbrownshuga. I just want to make sure I have the right person, did you BC twice during your HJ? I'm sitting here thinking you BC'd twice & and I still have not achieved the length you currently have. Wowzers!!!!

and I got the ends trimmed the next day (very much needed.) Now I don't know what the heck to do with it. I actually want to wash it out and go back to the norm for me, my textured hair. The only style I could think of was to put it in four braids. I've tried twists, flat twists, a bun, etc. It's been a' flipping and a'flopping everywhere.

How do you ladies style your hair once it's straightened, more particularly, blow dried?

Gurl... Just Take It Out And Show It Off - no need to "do" anything with it :lick:

This is my second time going natural. The first time I 'big chopped' after 1 year and 4 months of transitioning. I for real, for real big chopped in 2009 after 5 months of 'transitioning.'

^^^Okay, then my memory is right!! Your retention is like 100% 'cause when you bc'd the last time, my hair was heading towards APL and I'm still not full BSL, at least I don't think so. I don't have any hairstyle suggestions, but I just think your hair is the bomb!!
