Wait...do you mean youtube?

And are refering to youtibers making long *** videos and only telling you the product sucks at the end of the video?

I was confused sorry

stay at your best ♥
Yeah that's pretty annoying. And the min long intros are kinda annoying, too. YouTube is very infomercial-ish now. I miss the down to earth, casual, genuine-type vids. Ppl are kinda fake peppy and extra now.

Think.....and use humor, for goodness sakes. No, I'm not recommending anybody's porn site. sigh.... "boob" as in "dummy."

So, thanks to whiteoleander91 to keep her mind out of the gutter and see sarcasm and humor.

I'm interested in the Shea Moisture products and only have the curling creme for right now and was looking at infotubes on their hair mask. For some reason, I think people make these 8-min. long vids to just blow hot air! I mean, keep it short and sweet. You likey, you no likey...and points 1-3 why. I don't care to hear about somebody's boyfriend, mother-in-law, etc. lolol

auparavant, I am SOOOOO with you. Admittedly, I am short on patience when it comes to YouBoob, and especially if your review is longer than 3 minutes. I say this with all due respect to all who take the time, patience and love to create them. There are wonderful reviewers out there and I can't state how strongly I commend them for wanting to share their knowledge, reviews, styles, etc. In return, they sometimes get our adulation and sometimes our flack (including posts like this). But personally, iCan't with the whole lotta words, saying a whole lotta nothing. Get in and get out.

Auparavant, come and fast forward with me because 8 minutes is far too long for me to even contemplate hitting 'play'!

LOL. I used to hate the Expert Village ones in favor of the Youtube generated ones. Now, I'm loving the Expert Village ones lol!

Well excuse me, I just typed the name into the sidebar and ran into the wrong thing. Doesn't mean my mind is in the gutter, just means whatever you were referring to shares the name of a porn site and that's what I got. :/

Don't worry be happy
LOL Folks be clutching pearls and bunchin' pannies :giggle: calm down y'all. OP clarified herself and probably didn't even know youboob was also the name for a porn site. You make the banned for dem kina antics, plus it would be in OT anyways

To answer your question OP, I agree with you. Sometimes I really can't deal with the long intros and all the sidetracking. YT is a great resource though, I just wish people would keep their review vids more consise.

Some of them really do waste their time on the video showing how they apply the product on. Especially if they do that every single time with all products.

Ugh this ticks me off to no end, especially with the younger crowd. I don't care about your boyfriend, dog, parents, shopping, weekend - ain't nobody got time for dat. Then the incessant fidgeting with hair, nails, jewelry - fix all of that before the video! I swear just get to the point, cut the video, move on to the next! All the extra talking, annoying giggling, and stupid jokes are UNNECESSARY! Save all the extra story telling of your life for a vlog, the loyal subscribers and haters that care will be your audience to hear all your business. If you're trying to be funny or cute then don't, there's no time for that in a review plus if you're real, your personality will be strong enough to shine through regardless.

There's a Youtuber that's fairly popular, has about 800k subscribers. You'd think her videos are short and concise when she "discusses" a topic that is initiated in the header since it'll be like a 5min video but noooooo it's 4mins of her blabbing and 1min of her getting to the point. I don't get how she's big on YT because her videos never teach anything, she just likes to hear herself talk and act a fool.

That's what I like about denimpixie's videos. Straight, unbiased, reviews - no BS, chewing gum, dogs barking, babies crying, annoying music in the background, talking about nothing, shaky cameras, etc.

Most channels I land on are folks being extra and product pushing. Every time you tune in, it's a different product that's their staple or favorite. I'm to the point where I no longer rely on or turn to youtube for product reviews. Style options, yes. Products, no. I struggle with knowing who is striving to make youtube partner (or whatever it's called) and gain vendor sponsorship vs. giving honest feedback/reviews. My hair can't take those games some of them play.
