Straightened my hair on Sunday so I'm sharing a pic. Looking forward to seeing it at the end of the challenge.

Today or tomorrow I'm going to do an Aphogee 2 step protein treatment & moisturizing DC treatment to help revive & repair my hair from the heat. (Anyone with suggestions on treatments after exposing your hair to heat I'm open to it.)

Surprisingly I don't really care for my hair straight. I didn't expect to be super paranoid & stressed. I keep getting nervous it's going to all break & fall off so I've been wearing it up most of the time. Go figure!

Still taking my vitamins daily, but slacking on the water so I have to improve that this week. (And get started on the exercising!)

Hi ladies! So I did a poo wash (after doing absolutely nothing but bunning my hair all week) and Aphogee 2 Min. Now steaming with Silicon Mix Bambu DC, will rollerset and wrap after that. No direct heat since 11.10.12 (10.14.12 before that - so average once a month). Eliminating direct heat until 1.1.12 and then every three months after that. I'm loving knot-outs and braid-outs and buns :)

Hi ladies! I poo'd with Hair Trigger on my scalp and AOWL on the length of my hair, DC'sd with Silk Dreams, applied leave-ins and air dried. Hair is in a ponytail for the day. I plan to flat iron my hair for a Christmas party on December 15. At that time I will trim (if needed) and take pics. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Oh, by the way, I am thankful for this forum.

Hey ladies checking in! Hurricane Sandy threw me all off but I'm back.

I've been taking my vitamins daily and still following my routine. I straightened my hair for the holiday (it's still straight now.) I'm going to start my Insanity workout today which will probably be the end of the straight hair. If so, I'll wash it and do a DC treatment with a mix of conditioner, EVOO, and honey.

Hope everyone's hair journey is going great! Patience, patience, patience :)
