I did a Brazilian Keratin Treatment Saturday pic heavy

I used Organix BKT Treatment. It left my hair feeling silky and manageable after the blow dry. Usually the ends of my hair are still tangled together badly and the hair in at the crown of my head is still tight. After I flat ironed my hair it was silky, smooth, had sheen and shine.

Hair before. I had straightened the week prior.

after wash with clarifying shampoo

Starting blow drying

finished blow drying...my ends are shot

almost done flat ironing

Nope. The treatment typically lasts between 2-3 months.

That brand only lasts for 4-8 weeks. Your hair looks nice.

I like it. How much was the kit?

I am not sure it will last 2 - 3 months if you're natural. I've used a few different brands and they never last 3 months. For my relaxed friends a BKT seems to last longer.

Where is the wash out result though? Aren't you supposed to wash it out after flat ironing?

I used the same product and did mine a week ago but it didn't take. Perhaps I didn't use enough. I heard the result is cumulative, so the next time I do it the result maybe better. I still have half of the bottle left so I will give it a try again in few months.

you have to let it set 48 hrs before washing...i was tomorrow

A reminder of what my hair was like before I washed

I washed my hair and it started to curl back up

Towel dried hair with texture shots

Blow dried hair

Flat ironed hair

In a loose top bun

It was better than the other treatment I had. It made it more manageble. When I detangled after the wash, I didn't shed like I normally do. Also when I blow dried my hair it was faster and I didn't have those tight curls at my crown like normal. And lastly, when I flat ironed my hair after blow drying it, it was so much more easier. I felt like I had a perm, how easy the comb glided through my hair and how easy it was to section and flat iron.

I am going to try it for 30 days, but this may be my go to product.

12 was just for the the bkt treatment. the shampoo, conditioner, flat iron spray and serum were 6.99 each
