I noticed that wash days varied here. I am always interested in others regimens so please share what is your wash or co-wash days and how you decided on that particular day of the week?

I will go first:

My co-wash days are Tuesday and Saturday evenings. Tuesday is the only weeknight I don't have some educational/recreational class to attend and I detangle during my Saturday evening or Sunday morning co-washes so I chose a time I would not feel rushed.

My wash & condition is on Thursday evenings after swimming lessons. I have a nice swim cap that keeps my hair fairly dry, when I wear it right, but I put my wash day then just in case my hair ever gets wet.

I do it when I feel like it and when it is convenient for me. I could have rollerset this morning around midnight but decided to wait until tomorrow.

Currently my wash day is Saturday but in the past it's been pretty much every day of the week. No rhyme ir reason why/how I decided on that day.

Everyday. If I'm showering I'm cowashing or washing my hair. If it was a long day and I opt for a whore bath :look: I still wash my hair as well. I sweat a lot and like to wash my entire body. My second day hair looks like I just got out of jail.

My wash day is Saturday so that I am fresh for church on Sunday. I wash, DC, blowdry and flat iron on Saturday. The rest of the week I just pin curl at night.

I don't really have specific days that I wash. I just make sure to wash on the weekend and then midweek. I settled on this schedule because in 2001 I discovered a regimen that suggested washing hair only when it felt dry. That's when I stopped using leave-ins. I'd just go about life and on the day my hair felt dry, I'd shampoo and condition to add moisture to it. Over time, it seemed this would happen every 3 days or so. So I would wash every 3 days. When I learned about DCing, I realized making the weekend one of the times I wash would allow me the time to DC. So my schedule became twice a week washes, rather than every 3 days. I still use no products after the wash, and this schedule works for me.

Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Tuesday and Thursday are days that I can easily get work done without worrying about things coming up that I didn't plan. Sundays because I have the day completely off and I can spend hours DCing and wht not and not have to rush. 3x a week works for me I think. I am in the cowash challenge so, so far it's working.

We have similar schedules.

I do my entire hair routine Thursday night, so my hair is full and fluffy for the weekend. Occassionally, I will co-wash on Monday nights.

Sunday or Monday and Thursday . I like to get my hair "done" before the weekend.

I usually do henna on Monday or Tuesdays.

If its during the week then its a Thursday because thats when my BF has a late football (soccer for you Americans) game so i have time to do my hair in peace.

on the weekend it can be Friday night, Saturday or Sunday, just depends on my schedule

I co-wash every Wednesday. I like to clean my hair in the middle of the week and at the end of the week. In the middle of the week I like to have a quick and easy regimen so I DC on dry hair and steam for 30 min then I co-wash with Wen 613, condition, apply leave-ins and air dry. Nice, fast, and easy.

In the winter, once on the weekend, once during the week.

In the summer, once on the weekend, as needed during the week.

My main wash day when I DC/clarify etc. is a Sunday and my co-wash day is Thursday. Thursday is my day off work in the week and a decent amount of days away from Sunday to not make me feel like I'm washing my hair too closely together in the week. I don't work weekends and Sundays are convenient. I used to wash on Saturday before I started the mid-week co-wash.

My main wash day is tuesday or wednesday: prepoo, wash, dc and on friday or saturday i will dc on dry hair with GPb and cowash.
I just adapt it to my schedule, i avoid dealing with my hair on week ends as I prefer spending the times with DH and Kiddies.

I'm a Tuesday/Friday or Wednesday/Saturday Girl.

No reason. I like getting them in x2 per week and these combos seem to work fine for me.

Uber funny!!!!!

I am usually a daily cowasher unless I am rocking a flat iron or twistout, in which case I wash when it gets itchy, tangled or ugly.

I have a TWA that gets squished at night so I rinse with water or cowash about three mornings out the work week (Monday through Friday) if I can't fluff my hair back on its own.
I only do it if I have to. And if it was one of the weeks I applied sulfur to my scalp, to tone down the smell.

I like to fully wash on Sundays if I'm doing a twistout for the week because I can take the twists down on my way to work on Monday. If I'm wearing a twistout, I don't have to rinse or cowash because my hair stays very well in the style

I wash whenever I feel like it but I almost always have a wash day on the wknd. That's because I will wash my daughter's hair too, that way I can just throw all the towels in the washer at once.

My wash days are normally either Wednesday or Thursday morning (I wash once a week.)

I pick those days because I normally don't have a lot of running around to do and I can stay around the house those mornings and let my hair airdry.

I shampoo once a week on weekends since I have more time then. I cowash any number of times during the week depending on how often I work out. I sweat a lot in my head and every time I work out my hair is drenched.

Currently my co-wash day is Sunday - I work overnight on Saturdays so I'm always off on Sunday (unless I switch with someone for some reason) so it's a guaranteed free day for me. Plus my hair will be fresh to start the school week. When it gets warm again and I cowash twice a week my second day will probably be Wednesday or Thursday so it'll be like half a week since I cowshed when I do it again.
