Images of God/Jesus During Falling Asleep/Waking?

I'm not a religious person and I am not Christian but I did have a religious education for a few years because I went to Catholic school...
I wonder if there is any significance to seeing images of God or Jesus when you're falling asleep or waking up?
I saw an image of Jesus as I was falling asleep or waking when I napped earlier, he didn't speak to me but it was just a clear golden colored image of him in robes.

Years ago I had a vivid image/dream of seeing God and I felt he was taking me but let me go and I woke up...

I was wondering what if anything these images could mean?

Why do you think it was Jesus appearing to you if he didn't say anything?

I remember a dream I had as well. I think it was God speaking to me. He told me about 2 parts that I can take in life and asked me which one do I want...

Ask Him if it meant anything and if it did what? He will tell you. If there is any significance to it trust that the Lord will be happy to share it with you.

Another thing is that it may not be anything deep or mystical. He could have just been telling you that He wanted to spend a little of that time with you.
I don't get images of Jesus as I'm falling asleep, but sometimes I get an impression that He is telling me to sacrifice that sleep and hold off on it for a little while and get in His presence. When I've rolled over and gone to sleep anyway I've regreted it everytime. Other times when I obey especially if He wakes me in the middle of some good sleep I realize very soon why it was so significant and necessary. Again, just ask Him.
