Who said you can't do anything about hereditary hair loss (pics)

Sharing my daughter's progress on filling in her hereditary widow's peak hairline. :drunk:

I filled mine in and had her working on hers. She told me it was working for her so I asked her to take pics to track her progress. She sent me her progress pics today.

:drunk:

I hope this encourages someone. We're fighting that hereditary trait. *insert gangsta pose*

By hereditary hairloss do you mean her regular hairline she's always had or her hairline naturally became a widow's peak over time?

My hairline (on the sides) have always looked like a sideways m but I've never had anything more than baby hair on the gaps.

I kinda wish I had taken starter pics of this area. I have them too and they are filling in. :yep:

IKR?! Me too!! I didn't even expect it to work because of DNA. Otherwise, I would've taken pics. I guess I'll look through my pics and see if I find one of me with my hair bunned. Who know.

Yeah. The widow's peak hair line had always been there. But it gets worse as you get older.

My daughter is only 23. Mine in my 40's was getting worse.
:)nono: Nah son. I wasn't going out like that. :nono: )

But I didn't realize it until I started wearing buns. Since I was using the formula, I thought I'd give it a try on my edges.

(I had been purposely keeping it away from my edges because I didn't know how it would affect my face. My skin is VERY sensitive)

I didn't expect it to work because it's hereditary. But it did! And I had no problems with my face. Woo! \o/ THANK....THE LORD!!

This is awesome news! Congrats to your daughter!

Ummm, I'm gonna let my 12 year old son start putting this on his "cowlicks". I won't let the barber line up his front because them, and I don't know how much longer I'm gonna be able to get away with that.

It gets worse? :perplexed ohlawdhammercy

Your daughter's didn't even look bad but wow...it has massively improved. In buns mine looks like a sideways m (or 3) and if I part it like a mohawk it looks like an E (pic below). :nono: Maybe I should try this?...what formula is she using?

Thanks! I'm going to recommend this to my mother. She swears nothing on earth will help her thinning hair.

Girl, YOURS don't look that bad. She's using my Hair Growth Mix. See my siggy. Here's the link to the lhcf thread on it.

I'm referring to the one that leaves the front of your hair like a vampire point because the temples recede backwards. That's not it? :perplexed I think male versions are more severe. Don't even get me talking about my dad's hair. He's practically Count Dracula. :lachen:

Anywho, the formula is my growth mix, as mentioned above.

I'll have to wait until she's off work to get a real response but, I'm gonna say it's been about 4-6 weeks, 2-3 times a week. I'll find out later for sure tho.

Oh boy am i tempted to use this. I do shed a lot with sulfur, but my widow s peak has been getting worst in the past few years. I just turned 30, and i hate to be looking like my dad:lachen:. And i think my last 2 weave jobs contributed in it getting worst. I recently came to the decision that the hair follicles in this area are dead.
I vowed to stay away from sulfur, but i think if i am going to use it on a bald area anyways, there will not be any hair to shed:lachen:.
I have nightmares about my hairline reaching my crown. It is not that far from it to be honest, so nothing to lose right? Decisions, decisions...
If i do decided to get it, i will join the challenge, and use it only on those areas, and not the rest of my scalp.
NJoy did your daughter use your old or new formula? TIA.

@ronie

I make a sulfur-free version too for those sensitive to sulfur. It's not just the sulfur that gives the growth. It's a mix of the stimulants and herbs and oils known to grow hair. Let me know if you're interested.

Oh, and she's using the new formula.

Your daughter has made excellent progress. My hair line is similar. How much time elapsed between her before and after? NM... I see the answer :yep:.

NJoy thanks for sharing, although I am confused as to the product that is being discussed - is it called My Growth Mix? The link you posted to the thread about the product doesn't work for me. In my family we have balding at the crown, would this product work for that as well? TIA
