If the storm bypasses us, I'll dry dc/cowash on slightly damp hair for 30 minutes to an hour then put my hair into a puff after it air dries in braids.

IM in corn braids so IM not real sure what IM doing yet. I might try to wait till my scalp starts itching to wash n DC. but if I do decide to do something it will probably just be either a dry DC n rinse or a CW

I am going to wash, trying the Quidad Cleansing Oil, moisture DC (with IDK what), and flat iron, trying the Kerapure Keratin Blowout extender. My stepson is graduating on Saturday (with honors, gold cords and all ). Some of DH/DSS side of the family is coming in from out of town. And the few times that have seen me, my hair was natural, in a bun. So I plan to have my hair whippin' :rocker: all weekend :yep:

I just took down the braids in the center of my hair. I left the perimeter in so I don't look crazy at work tomorrow.

Prepoo w/ Coconut Oil
Wash - Either with Miss Jessie's sudsy shampoo or As I am coconut cowash (I just had braids for almost two months so I'm thinking I need to do the sudsy)
DC w/ nettle and lavender tea and/or miss Jessie's sweet back DC under the steamer
Protein treatment (Roux porosity control)
Leave In - This part is questionable. Maybe my As I am leave in. I need to read up a little tomorrow. Think I'll also use my argan oil
Air dry in plaits
Place in cornrows using Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme.

Nada! Sit on my booty and enjoy my weekend!

On Wednesday I did a moisturizing wash.
- Prepooed with Claudies Vere Oil

- Washed with As I Am Coconut Cowash (revisited this and loove it)

- Quick condition with Soultanicals Knot Sauce (eh. Smells good in thw bottle not in the hurr. The slip was mediocre. The coconut cowash gave more slip! )

-Deep condition with Kizuri Cocoa Vanilla for 4 hours (love it. Smoothed moisturized hair! Great ph balanced DC!)

- ACV RINSE

- finger detangle gently to stretch and allow to dry 80%.

- Apply Darcy's pumpkin and use Hercules sagemann to detangle

- Twist up ala miss celie

- Seal twists with avocado oil

Goal:Hip length stretched
May do another DC with heat on dry hair on Sunday (not sure which DC I'll use) or a quick wash and condition with Tressemme FC. Depends on how much I feel like doing with my hair.

I already started and finished. :) I've been trying to do my hair Wed/Thursday so that I can look cute all weekend.

So I applied Henna, wrapped, waited, rinsed and applied Indigo, wrapped, waited, rinsed and for the first time I had gray coverage (to black) on my bangs. I'm too young for gray hair, ya hear.

Generally, my hair is left with deep red color on the few gray strands, now it's black!

So I twisted it after detangling like a boss! I trimmed some ends. Then went to sleep. Woke up, gently blow dried and flat ironed with a heat protectant. Then as soon as I walked outside and saw that it was stilllll raining. It went right back up into a bun.

I'll probably rock a twist out this weekend after I find an good anti-humidity blocker (Loreal didn't work). :) I'm loving this thick, healthy hair right now.

Tonight:

Pre-poo / DC (at the same time) with coconut oil & Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Mask under baggy for 30-60 minutes.

Co-wash in 4 sections with V05 Moisture Milks Strawberries & Cream

Detangle with Aussie Moist Conditioner

Blot dry with T-shirt and while still mostly wet apply coconut oil and Kinky Curly Knot Today (LOC method)

Band my hair to stretch my roots and finish air-drying overnight.

Tomorrow:

Self-install jumbo box braids with edges and nape left out (a la KinkyStyles1980 on YT).

I will use my shea butter mix while braiding for moisture. I plan to wear this protective style for about 4 weeks. :yep:

Love hearing all these wash day plans :)
As for mine... this will likely happen on Sunday:
1) Pre-poo with grapeseed oil
2) Shampoo and condition with Agadir products (first time using these)
3) Deep condition for 30 mins with heat
4) Apply leave-ins: Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin spray, NTM Silk Touch, seal w/ grapeseed oil
5) Air dry

My hair & scalp is in dire need of a wash so really excited. Plus get to try new products :D
