I really tried to finish off the apricot oil tonight but it just wouldn't go away  Will definitely finish it next week. Doing a rollerset tomorrow so will use up quite a bit of the komaza vitamin reign and hopefully the last of the komaza curling pudding. Will twist it on Sunday so will probably use up the rest of the HQ puttyful. Will see.

faithVA it likes some of them. This line is a little different though. It's called hair milks, but is is a co-wash, leave-in and pudding.

I didn't buy. I decided to wait till morning. Then, this morning, I I looked at my stash, looked at the ingredients, and decided I'm ok for now. I may go back to Macy's to see if I can get free samples, though.

Cool. Glad you talked yourself out of it.

I rollerset my hair this morning. I misted with the Komaza Vitamin Reign and then used Komaza Curling Pudding. I probably have 1 use left of both the Vitamin Reign and the Curling Pudding. I like the curling pudding for rollersets so I may buy more of this.

I used the As I Am Double Butter and my hair doesn't like it :nono: I am going to use it up and just put it on before I twist since I use something else to twist with. I hope the Twisting Cream is better. I am still in search for a creamy moisturizer. Would love to get something on the ground.

I will have to relegate the HQ Coconut lime oil to use on my body. It just makes my hair feel so hard. It smells wonderful though. But my hair rebels against coconut oil.

I will probably use up some stuff tomorrow when I twist.

I used up my miracle 7 to the last drop! I love when I'm done with products, closer to many dream of minimizing my stash . But i hate when you revisit something and then like it, makes me confused. I didn't even deep condition and it touch my hair and instantly softened it.

I used up two things today. I used up the Komaza Care Vitamin Reign and the Curling Pudding. I used up most of the HQ puttyful. I definitely only have 1 use left of that.

With my hair it is hard to evaluate it. I loved the way it smelled and I liked spraying it on before I styled my hair but I couldn't really tell if it moisturized my hair or made it softer. I do know if my hair is healthier than it has ever been but I can't attribute it to anything. I just think it is a hard product to evaluate because it is hard to tell whether the hair is benefitting from the vitamins. I don't plan to repurchase it though.

MileHighDiva[/USER];18812169]@faithVA, do you plan on re-purchasing any of their products? If so, which ones?

Sent from my Speak & Spell using LHCF

The only thing I would repurchase at this time is the Califia Styling Pudding. I use it for my rollersets.

I think there products are really good. However, my hair is low porosity and it really doesn't react to products like other hair does. It makes my 4b hair hard to manage. So there products work ok for my hair but not worth buying online. I do have their protein treatment which I haven't tried yet.

I do think if my hair was normal porosity my hair would have really liked their products. I love the way they smell. And they seem to be of good quality.

Used up a bottle of S-Curl last night. Mix it 2 parts S-Curl with 1 part As I Am Hair milk to moisturize my twist. It works pretty well. I think mixing products with S-curl is the answer to using up some of these products.

I foresee using up 2 or 3 more products on wash day.

Need to figure out why my hair does not like the Curls Moisturizers. Dry crunchy hair from the Curls Whipped Cream.

Debating if I should send to family/friends or use on my body. Needless to say, Curls Whipped Cream off the list -either used up as body product or given away.

Used up a few things tonight. Used up 1 HQ Slip conditioner, the HQ Puttyful and the bottle of Apricot Oil. I have to put the HQ slip leave-in conditioner in the giveaway box. I put that on my hair and my hair started becoming rock hard :nono: I think when I used it a few weeks ago I ended up with a head full of SSKs. I immediately went back to my As I Am leave-in.

I won't be trying any more leave-ins soon. Maybe when I am able to bun. And even then I think I will try it on only 1 section of hair.

So tonight I DCd with HQ The Slip. I have 1 more jar. It is not a repurchase. I used the As I Am leave-in on most of my hair. Used apricot oil on the left side, and the HQ 5 day moisture on the right side. I used the HQ Greaseless moisture as my "C" step. I am twisting with the Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream.

Should be able to use up the Greaseless moisture and the Curl Defining Cream this month. And will probably use up 1 or 2 more of the HQ conditioners.

Used up my Darcy's pumpkin seed and my castor oil in a prepoo concoction with some other things. My concoctions are helping me out when I only have a dollop of something left.

I'm on my phone, so I'll update my stash list later.

Whooo I have balance again. I am coming to my last leg of my use it journey. It has taken quite some time to get rid of this stuff and I see myself moving toward a more minimalist regimen. I encourage you ladies to keep going.

This week:

Finished Alter Ego Garlic (Mega Size) - Wowzers! (heavy hair mask did the trick)
GPB
Liter Aloxxi Keratin Treatment (Have 1/2 of a second liter bottle left)

Unfortunately, I've also thrown away A LOT of product - some I'd forgotten about in the closet and others I just didn't care to try to work in, and much more that had just past its expiration. 12 months is generally the max for opened product - for a reason. Preservatives hold back bacteria. I remember using a product long past its prime and I couldn't sit still I was so itchy. I had to take a Benadryl and rewash my hair. Be safe and throw it out, and label when you've opened your bottles with a Sharpie.

It's been a wasteful experience, but you live and you learn.

Good luck ladies! Reformed Head PJ over and out.

Hi everyone,

I really need to join this challenge. I am not only a PJ but also obsessed with all things related to hair. I cant seem to stop buying. I know in order to join this challenge I need to make a list of my stash. That will be a challenge in itself. However, session 3 starts in September so my goal is to have this long long long list completed by then so I can join. Wish me luck.

I used up my Yes to Carrots Conditioner.

My KBB Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream is on its last drops, so this will probably be gone next. I really like this stuff, but I realized it is more like a creamy pomade or butter. A little goes a long way. I used too much on my flat twists last week, and my hands were really greasy.

I just used of my Naturally Silk Elements nourishing deep conditioner. I will not be purchasing that again. I would have taking it back but I was so excited to get it i mis placed or threw my receipt out. I will never replace a hair product receipt again. It's doesn't make my hair soft, it actually makes it feel clean after rinsing out and makes my hair stiff while putting it in with no slip. I, glad i didn't comb it through under water running or I would be running to my terrible wash thread lol. That Aussie saved my life. But now I assume deep conditioner have no slip because it goes into the hair but forget that I know I can find a deep conditioner with slip, any ideas? And not a plain regular conditioner either. Nourishing my @$$ ......smh

How is the Jane Carter wrap and roll? I was looking to purchase that since its naturally after I'm done with my lotta body? uofmpanther I'm assuming it wasn't so good if you gave it away lol

Lilmama1011 Yeah. I was not in love with it. I kept my travel size to use while I hunt for something else. I've been on Youtube and in the Setting to Success thread. I may just try using leave-in and my light Curls gel next time to see if that works.

^^I couldn't do much with the Wrap and Roll either. None of the Jane Carter worked for me. I can manage the Nourish and Shine a bit but it is just so so.

I'm starting to find with the little bit of Jane carter shampoo that's left that I like it. It doesn't make my hair feel super dry, yes clean but not dry. I hand 2 oz sizes but think I will get the bigger one. I don't like creme of nature. That was the first shampoo i liked because it made my hair soft but it doesn't anymore. They must have changed the formula, I did use it years ago
