I washed my hair last night and although I used my Shea Moisture Purification Masque to detangle my week old wash & go (worn in a pineapple at night) by the time I finished washing it my hair was tangling again. I don't know if it was my new leave-in reacting with the water or what. I've been trying out the Aloe My Hair leave-in from the Komaza sale almost daily this week sometimes with a little water.
I washed with Shea Moisture Moisture Retention shampoo. At first I tried to use my Salon Graphix cleansing conditioner to detangle but it was just not working.
I ended up finger detangling slowly with WEN 613 and using my seamless comb to get out all the tangles. I twisted up each section and had 15 sections once I was done.
I had to get dinner together and did not feel like going back to untwist each section to add my holding product - Curl Prep Sweet Buttah - so I just added the Curl Prep to my hair while it was already twisted. Lo & behold, I have a second day look to my twist out that is usually super tight on day one if done on wet hair.
