Hey Lovely Locs! & Haute Hair Hotties! & Big Haired Beauties!

We're into the 1st Weekend of October and we are winding down 2013.

I'm sure we all have our Regimens down and made some great accomplishments so far this year.

Everyday in this Hair Game we find new ways to explore the world of hair-care.

Some have transitioned, some have BC'ed, some have learned a new technique and some have shaved & started over.

Some have learned to Flat-Iron, Braided, Twisted, Curlformed........

Yet, some have Relaxed or even Texlaxed. Some have opted to Highlight and some have played around with Henna.

So, what are YOU Doing This Weekend to Nuture & Nourish YOUR Hair????

Ogoma so you don't do a moisturizing DC after your bask vanilla whiskey? How is that working for you?

It is working fine. I have used it this way 2x before. I also don't need one after using CJ Repair Me so my hair might just be a strange beast. I consider both balancing conditioners. Anytime I used moisture after, I felt like it erased the results of the protein treatment. I don't know.

I should note: I use protein once a month, alternating between the Bask Whiskey and the CJ Repair Me. I don't use protein anywhere else in my regimen. None of my leave-ins, styling products, rinse out or co-wash conditioners have protein in them. This is it for me.

- Oiled and washed hair
- Heavy protein treatment with Dudley's DRC because it's about that time lol
- DC with moisturizing conditioner layered with hot oil and let it sit
- Rinse & add Chi Keratin mist
- Blow dry on low to medium heat.
- Add butters
- Twist up for a week or two.

I want to get box braids towards the end of the month. :yep:

Tonight I am going to wash and dc with Motions and Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor, air dry straight (instead of my usual curly). Then I'm going to spend the weekend putting my hair in box braids.

I need to wash, deep condition and I want to twist my hair. Working out and trying to have straight hair as a natural is not working.
