Anyone using mousse?

I did a wash & go on Thursday. I washed, detangled then in sections applied a creamy leave-in conditioner followed by mousse. Usually I use gel. I had low expectations because in the past mousse has done absolutely nothing to moisturize or provide hold for my hair. To my surprise my curls dried shiny & moisturized. It has hold but it isn't flaky & crunchy.

This is the mousse I used.

I used to use the Aussie brand mousse alllllll the time (like everyday my freshman year of college). It worked really well on severely heat damaged hair. Unfortunately I don't remember the effects as I really wasn't at the level of documentation that I am now. I will say that my hair was never dry and I retained just fine, which was probably mostly because I stopped flat ironing everyday. Once I did that again, I lost all my progress.

I love mousse. I have loose waves and fine hair. It gives good hold without crunch and doesnt weigh my hair down. I get better results from the "bad" stuff with alcohol.

Lustrasilk's curl line in the gold packaging has a really nice, very moisturizing mousse.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get a 5 day wash & go with the mousse. I just washed my hair & I did a twist out with the mousse. I'm waiting for it to dry now.

The mousse didn't change my curl pattern by weighing it down or stretching it out like gel. It's like it just lightly froze it in place. My curls just looked very natural & not like there was alot of product in my hair.
