Where Do You Buy RAW Ingredients?

Looking for an online store that sells quality, inexpensive, raw ingredients to make my own hair and skin products.

(i.e. shea, mango, & cocoa butters)

I know of a Lotion Crafter, but looking for more options.

I'm a soap maker. Lotioncrafter has the best price for shea butter. For other butters and oils I use Brambleberry.

I ordered once on ingredientstodiefor. Great products, excellent customer service.

I have heard good things about makingcosmetics.com too.

I really like mountain rose herbs. Their selection of butters is not extensive, but they have the basics and the shipping is fast. I like FNWL as well as most of their oils are cold pressed, but they can be a bit pricey so I always look for sales. Some of my other US faves have been mentioned: Brambleberry and NDA.

I like wholesale supplies plus for packaging and fragrance oils. A lot of their butters and oils are blends and mixes and I prefer getting the pure ingredient. Similar complaint for Essential Wholesale, but the non-mixed oils are very reasonably priced. I think it was the best priced broccoli seed oil.

Texas Natural Supply: great bulk prices on butters, lotion bases (I use these for my leave-ins, moisture treatment and DCs) and creme conditioner bases. You can add to or scent these bases however you like.

They also have excellent prices on natural scents to scent products. Nothing artificial! I haven't bought these but I am intrigued. I'm looking for a new body oil...

Essential Wholesale is good, too...
