Do I close the hood of the Huetfiul hair steamer?

Hey Ladies

I have the Huetfiul hair steamer. I have no problem setting it up. But I wanted to know if I should close the top holes on the hood when steaming my hair? I know it sounds like a silly question but it gives you the option to open or close it.

I don't have that particular one, but I keep the vents in the top closed for deeper penetration.

If you get too hot under there you can open them up some/adjust it, because I hear the Huetiful gets extremely Hot underneath?

I have a Tabletop Heutiful steamer and I keep the vent on top opened halfway. I can't keep it closed completely because it does get extra hot under the hood and heaven forbid the steam condensation to drip it is

Like IDARET'SHAIR said keeping it closed it penetrates deeper but I just can't...too hot for me. So I just steam longer (refill vessel and restart)

I close mine. I like all the steam. You can play with it keep your settings you your comfort level.

I have the Secura steamer, but yes I close the vents

I have the huetiful. I keep if half open. It is hot but I do it more to prevent too much condensation falling inside the steamer. One of the hot drops of water fell on my scalp and I thought I was dying.

Try it with it completely closed and then adjust it as you need to. If it feels unbearable, then just open it a little until you find the right setting for you.

I have another brand steamer but I start with the vents closed so my hair gets all nice and steamy. I open them up after a while though because it gets too hot in there.
