I'm interested in this product. I'm surprised to find only one thread on it. People are missing the point of its use. It's not to replace a standing steamer. It's main purpose is to refresh your curls.

I also use it to aid in detangling my hair. I have less breakage, it takes less time, and saves money (from detangling in the shower).

Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
I wouldn't mind having one for the sole purpose of steaming my nape. :yep: A full size steamer can never seem to get that area.

I just bought this when I saw a couple of 4c people using it for detangling on YouTube. When I say it melts through my tangles, this. Thing. Melts. Through. Like. Butter. I tried it using just coconut oil and I tried it with conditioner. With the coconut oil I oil the hair first then to through to soften then use the prongs to detangle. With conditioner I use the steam first to soften the hair and detangle with the prongs, then a comb, then condition. This will definitely remain a staple for me

I love my q-redew too... I'm going to try the two detangling methods you mentioned. I normally use my steamer to just steam in my DC. Thanks for the tips.
