I might give the braid out another go. This was my go-to transitioning style, but I ended up doing the BC once the braid outs just started looking raggedy. It was because I had too much natural hair and it didn't blend with the relaxed hair. After I went totally natural, I could not make a twist out or braid out work to save. my. life. I do gorgeous braid outs on my almost 6 y.o., but on me? Meh. Yet…I persevere.

I am in box braids now. I washed my scalp yesterday by diluting some shampoos and oils in a bottle with an applicator nozzle. I massaged it in and hung my head over the sink and rinsed it out. I like this method because I didn't get all of my braids wet. I am not sure what I am going to do as far as styling them. Whatever it is, it cannot take too long to do because I have plans with my boo after work and I will only have about an hour and a half to get ready for tonight. As far as what I am wearing, I have no idea because I really don't know what he has planned.

It's my birthday weekend! I did the Tresemme 7 day keratin straightening treatment and now I'm under the dryer with my flexirods. I hope to have beautiful swangin hair all weekend long :yep:

I moisturized, detangled and rebraided my hair. Onstead of cornrows I did ceely braids and I love it. Its so much easier to moisturize with single braids

DC with SD RCA for about an hour and a half using the DIY steaming method and my heating cap.
Apply Jessicurl Too Shea and my CR JAI Twist butter and do either a three-strand twist out or braid out.

Sunday:
Cowash with my As I Am Coconut Cowash
DC with my BASK Vanilla Whiskey
Apply my Jessicurl Too Shea and my CR JAI Twist Butter and damp bun

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Nightly rollersets. Back to those. It feels like it takes a while to do (at least 30minutes), but it makes the morning time a breeze and the whole not having to worry about a wet wash and go in the when I leave the house.

I'm under the Pibbs right now preparing for our date. Bunning and setting are my go to styles in the winter months.

Last night, I pre-poo'd with coconut oil, and wore a plastic cap.

This morning I washed with Aphogee Curlific Texture Wash. OMGosh this stuff is AWESOME. It is soft and very rich. It lathers, but I actually combed through my hair like I had the slipperiest :look: conditioner in it. It was :lick: I was not expecting that. And I did not detangle prior to shampooing, as I usually do. It was amazing.

Afterwards, I steamed in the Aphogee Curlific Texture Treatment, for 20 minutes. This is a very thick mask. I am heavy handed with masks, and I did not use alot at all. It is like when it first hit my hair, it absorbed. I could barely see it on my hair (mostly just around my edges) It is also very moisturizing. As I rinsed, I could feel the silkiness of it both on my hair, and my skin. The smell is a little more noticeably than the shampoo, but nothing to strong for me (smells can trigger migraines for me).

Lastly, I spayed on some Patene Moisture Leave In, and used my Komaza Coconut Hair Lotion. I have a banded ponytail at the moment.

The Aphogee Curlific products a beyond a hit for me. I will be purchasing the leave in, and the curl definer. I am sure I will love them too, if they are anything like their counterparts. It makes my not want to use nothing else, except my Komaza CHL. I mean NOTHING else.

You also see this review in the HIT/MISS thread :) as a HIT :yep:
