Try garlic poo. It was the only thing that helped me with pp shedding. I used queen Helen garlic shampoo once to twice a week. Hth

Summer where are you?
I don't want to sound like a jerk. But if you do a search a million threads will pop up with the same info in each thread.

Garlic shampoo & black tea rinses have worked for me though. I still shed but on a much smaller scale.

Try Nutrine Garlic Conditioner (should be easy to get) - Also Alter Ego Garlic Rx is also pretty good.

Also Queen Helene.

And Black Tea Rinses.

If you can unearth the source of the shedding, it will assist you in alleviating it...IMO.

Many people overlook if it is an internal issue. I tried black tea rinses, garlic shampoos, masks, nothing worked. I went and had some blood work done and My vitamin d levels were insanely low and was causing my hair to shed like crazy. Started taking some over the counter vitamin D, hair is thicker than ever!

Thank you. I've been noticing shedding and my D levels came back low. I didn't know they might be linked!

What strength Vit D do you take and how long to see improvement?

I agree! It could be a thyroid, anemia, vitamin D, autoimmune and other hormonal imbalance issue which is often overlooked. Getting to the root cause of your problem is going to help you much more than masking the symptoms.

Additionally, evaluate stress, diet, hydration and other possible environmental factors (i.e hard vs soft water)

It all depends on why you are shedding. For me, I tried garlic, tea, vitamins...

The only thing that helped me.... Was time.

Vitamins did help me more than anything else, but my shedding didn't stop until whatever was causing my shedding was completely out of my system.

I take nature made Vitamin D3 2000 IU, I take one daily I didn't see results for about 2weeks and it gradually became a lot better. It can be found at any drugstore, walmart or target.
