How long is your braid out?

Whenever I do a braid out my hair just doesn't seem to be as long as it should be:look:. My braid out hangs to just past BSL.

How long would hair need to be to be MBL in a braid out? How long is your hair when it's in a braid out?

When I've done a braid out, it's about SL or a little bit past it which makes my hair look short. Idk if it's because I braid it tight. Every time I've done any type of curly style on my hair... It looks pretty short.

A bsl braid out sounds great! What length are you?

At BSL, a braidout is between bottom of neck and maybe shoulder on me.

I use perm rods and roll my hair all the way to the scalp and it was a little shorter than apl and my hair hung to my ears. But if I didn't roll it all the way it would be to my shoulder. But I like it to my ear because it lasts longer

HA! That's the reason why I'm still trying to grow my SL hair to APL or beyond! So that when I do braidouts they'll be SL or NL instead of EL. With the crazy shrinkage I have, BSL sounds great to me for a braidout!

Stormy I thought you meant elbow length. I was like why would you want to go from elbow lengtg to SL and NL lol

My braidouts are between BSL and MBL, I would say. And my hair is a couple inches past HL.

I'm MBL and my braidouts usually reach shoulder length, maybe collarbone length if I stretch it out for a while.

I'm 2 inches from MBL and my braidouts are between SL and APL. And I'm texlaxed so I'm sure they would shrink more if I were natural.

I think you need to reset your braid out hang time expectations. This YouTuber has TBL hair look at this video to see how long her braid out hangs. I'd say it's hanging about APL.

My hair is waist length 4b/c.

My braidouts hang at collarbone or grazing armpit length when no heat is used :ohwell:.

All of you who have bsl/mbl braid-outs, I am seriously jelly! Enjoy them for me and send back post cards! My hair would have to be mid-thigh length for that kind of blessed awesomeness!

Ugh my hair is BSLish and hangs just below SL in a braid out (doing 4 french braids on 80 percent dry hair).

I'm BSL and fresh braid outs are NL. After a few days it's SL.

I am like mid back length and my braid outs fall maybe brastrap length in the back and below arm pit length in the front....
