Puff Cuff-New Accessory for Puffs

I received mine yesterday. My hair is too short to use it  It is going to be months before I can make a puff with it. I'm not sure if I will need to be APL or if I can get by with full SL. I will just have to stick to the knee hi until then. Then goes in the drawer with my other hair accessories

So I got my puffcuff and it's definitely a hair accessory fail. First, it came scratched, and it almost looked used, but I'm positive that that's just from manufacturing. It didn't seem to have sharp seems/edges, however, my hair got caught and tangled in it immediately. I almost had to get the scissors. When I finally tried to snap it in place again, it was too narrow to fit all of my hair. I will try again later and see if I could make it work.

I am feeling my puff cuff! I have medium density, fine hair and it fits good. Not too tight, not too loose. I think if you have low density, fine hair you may need a smaller cuff.

It looks good. I agree with you on low density hair probably needs a smaller one.

What length is your hair *Frisky*

I am in between APL and BSL before shrinkage of course:lol:

Thanks. Just wanted to have some idea of how long my hair would have to be before I can actually wear it  Maybe stretched I can wear it at full SL. I will probably get the next size down when it comes out so I can wear a partial puff.

Here's a YouTube video with someone using the puffcuff. I like how she puts her hair in a ponytail first since my hair get snagged and tangled up in those teeth. I'm going to try this method out. The link is below.

I want the puff cuff and I'm relaxed. It looks similar to the banana clip... Which I do use to make buns and ways... Sometimes the ends are exposed. I will def try this circular accessory.

ETA: Just ordered mine today. The pics I saw on Instagram were the deciding factor. It should be here Thursday, March 27.

My cuff came Monday. I have worn it a few times now. The only way I can wear successfully is putting my hair in a scrunchie first. My hair git so tangled in the teeth and the hinge i almost threw it away. The scrunchie worked like a charm.

The video was kinda convincing but the reviews online were not....ill wait for someof yalls reviews before I get anything...

I was interested until I saw the reviews. The 5 star reviews are over the top and when you check the reviewing history for most of the 5s, this is the only product they've ever reviewed, which means they're probably friends of the owner & not regular Amazon purchasers.

Here it is. It wasn't scratched. It is rather large. Worked great, no tension on my head and it didn't move or slip.

I like the puff cuff... Wish it gave tension but I guess I can live w/o it. I did a twist out into a high bun. I sprayed my hair w/ aloe vera to make sure my hair new growth lays stretched and flat come morning.

I totally forgot to post my pic!

Either way, I had no issues with mine. It only tried to get tangled when I put it on and tried to slide it upwards...this is a no no :nono:

Also, I have dense CBL hair and I was able to pull most off it up and fit it into the puffcuff. I used a headband/pins to keep the front (bangs) lying down.

I'll probably order another.

I just discovered this and I love it!! I am tired of getting headaches from those elasticity and whatnot I've used to create puffs in the past. I was worried that it wouldn't have enough tension but so far, so good. I will likely buy a smaller one as well when it comes out.

If you bought one through Amazon, if you give a review you will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 amazon gift card.

Bumping. Any updated reviews? Are the cuffs you ladies purchased still holding up well?

I bought 3. One for me, DD and a backup. They are still holding up. None have broken when putting them in. I accidentally left one in my tote bag that I had been throwing random stuff in and it survived.

It isn't too tight and I don't have to wrestle with DD hair to get it to fit. When she comes out with the smaller sizes I will buy them for my nieces.

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

Still holding up, not even one tooth broken. I use it quite often and plan to puchase a few for gifts

Mine is still just fine. I keep it in my bag with the rest of the hair accessories. I only wear it sometimes because I don't wear puffs to work. I might break it out again soon.

I want one but now I'm worried I'll buy it and discover it's too big for me and useless. I don't live in US and shipping to where I am costs a fortune!

If your hair is medium density and close to APL or longer it may work. If not wait for the Puff Cuff Jr to come out next year.

I think the Puff Cuff Jr will be better for most people.
