If this was you or your daughter(s) hair WWYD?

If she were my daughter she'd probably want a baldy. LOL! If her hair was that long she'd have to get it trim to WSL. No toilet dipping for her. :)

Not trying to be mean, but hair length past a certain point starts to gross me out. It's weird how I love long hair, but if it's too long, it freaks me out. I can't explain it. This girl has gorgeous hair, but, yeah...it's at that gross point for me now.

Wow, her hair look healthy too... I wouldn't allow me or dd hair to grow that long. MBL is enough.. Anything else would be excessive.

I literally jumped when I saw the pic. I mean, great length/retention/health and all...but that is just too much hair! of course, I'm the one who gets overwhelmed when the hair goes past BSL, so I'm sure I'm biased. DD is almost at tailbone, but she's six, #1, and her hair is very thin, fine, and manageable, so if it ever does grow to that length, I'd probably do a BostonMaria and keep it detangled and moisturized--and not much else. Definitely not putting a flat iron to it

Her hair is probably only MBL loose and in its curly state, so I actually wouldn't mind. If it were DD, I'd keep it in a couple braids all the time.

I think her hair is stunning -- it looks healthy and relatively even ends. If my hair grew this long, I'd keep it braided in 1 or 2 braids or a bun. Myy HL hair shrinks to shoulder length when curly -- I'd have to wear this length curly at least 1-2x a month! Maybe get BSB curls for once.

My sister's hair was as long, if not longer, when we were growing up. She was at knee length when she finally cut it. Wash day was an all day thing in our house. Especially since she kept blowing out blow dryers. Usually it took two of us to comb it out and braid it. Unfortunately, our grandmother refused to let her cut it until she was 21. When she finally did cut it, the hair dresser didn't believe her that my grandmother agreed and made her call her. Lol! She was 23.

I am on LONG HAIR CARE FORUM right?

Why aren't we applauding her or her mom's accomplishments for being successful in growing out her hair to this length?

This is an amazing feat considering it looks healthy and full. I've seen thin damaged hair of this length on women of all races and nationalities and her's is full and looks undamaged.

Can we please support her journey?

Just like long nails don't end up in crack of everyones ***, long hair doesn't end up in the toilet :nono::drunk::roll eyes: When you have long nails or long hair naturally or via a purchase, you adapt and learn how to work with it.

If that person happens to come across this thread.....

You have beautiful hair. I would love to see your regi. I also would love to see your up do's, wash and go's and buns.

Your hair is :lick::lick::lick::lick::lick::lick::lick::lick::lick:

The more I inspect that picture I'm wondering is that a woman? I'm looking at the hands and the side reflection in the mirror.

Either way it would be quite a challenge but if my daughter wanted to keep her hair long like that I'd support maintenance. It's her hair so I wouldnt want to do anything she wouldnt want to do with it.

You can kinda see a beard on the reflection too....maybe it is a man
