Oh, Fabulosity! I so know how you feel!!! Having to flatiron my hair every day (sometimes twice a day) in the summer just to keep it styled, is exactly why I decided to perm. I took the easy way out, this gave me the time to figure out what my hair needed to get it back in balance. My hair was fried from flat-iron abuse.
So 8 months ago, I joined this hair care group to learn how to help my hair.
Your hair, however looks very healthy, and you have nice length. I wonder if your hair is overporous, and sucks up moisture and humidity like mine use to??? The key would be finding out how to quench your hair's thirst on a daily basis, so that it doesn't go seeking moisture from the air every time you're out and about. I am still trying many different combinations of oils, moisturizers and conditioners to keep my strands from straying. Don't give up, just keep experimenting with the flat iron process, and making adjustments as your hair's needs change.
I hope you had a good BD anyway, despite the fact that your hair was doing its own thing, and happy to be free!! Much luv, and happy belated bithday!!!
