Am I the only one who didn't know there are product reviews on the forum?

I checked 4 stores this week for my Mane & Tail hair strengthener and none have it. I finally decided to try something else and recalled Infusium 23 being discussed for crown & glory braiders. I've been on this forum for a long time and never realized we have a review section.

I had no idea this existed either! I would love to see this part of the forum active again. LHCF is already a great resource and having product reviews could only make things better.

How do you get to this part of the site without going through google? I don't see a link for it anywhere.

Dilettante up at the top of the screen (under the logo/header) right next to !!SUBSCRIBE!! there is a link to the review section

That's embarrassing...somehow I never noticed it.

I saw it once awhile ago and forgot. I don't think it's available on the mobile app. They should definitely add it.

I remember it from back during the early years but had completely forgotten about it. It's crazy because I was searching for reviews on a product last night and I stumbled across the reviews section and was thinking to myself, "Why don't we utilize this more?" Then I see this thread today.

I agree, we definitely need to highlight it and encourage more members to contribute to it so we can have a database of reviews instead of a whole bunch of disjointed threads asking/saying the same thing about a product, especially since the search feature on here can sometimes be a little confusing.

I can help spearhead the movement if you all want me too. I can also start posting product reviews if we are given permission to add products. After that, I can also include a link in my siggy encouraging others to submit reviews.

ellebelle88 I like this idea a lot. I go to Naturally Curly for product reviews, but I think the section here could become more useful since the posters here are majority black. Also I LOVE product reviews, so I'll contribute too once we can add new products.

Do we need to contact a Mod about getting that part of the site up and running?

I would think so. I tagged beverly because she's the admin and the decision is probably up to her. We can also tag mods to make them aware of the fact that we would like to do more with this section of the forum.

I ended up buying the Original formula Infusium 23, 33.8 oz bottle. Moisturologie is recommended, but it seems to have been replaced with Moisture Repair that doesn't get the same good reviews.

I still never found the Mane & Tail locally.
