Somebody I know asked for two of mine to put in her daughter's hair grease. Don't know if it worked.

That sounds stupid. :look:

Prenatal vitamins don't absorb through the skin. In that case, you shouldn't have to take them. Just holding them in your hand should do.

Folks are getting too desperate.:nono:

Kinda OT but along the lines of prenatal vitamins and hair growth: I was put on prenatal vitamins for a medical, non-pregnancy reason over 10 years ago. I stayed on the vitamins for about 5+ years and it did nothing for hair growth, unfortunately. I'm now on a GNC vitamin and again, no major hair growth. My growth remained the same with and without the prenatal vitamins. If ingesting the vitamins didn't prompt growth, how would that differ topically? I was left feeling the hair growth came from hormones and being pregnant and not the vitamin itself although I could be wrong.

I thought it was strange too. The Internet is only as smart as the idiot that puts the information on there...just sayin.

My aunt used to do this back in the early 80's. she prepared a bottle for my sister who was having issues growing out her hair after a bad relaxer. I'm not sure if it worked because I don't think my sister applied it consistently.
