How often do you shampoo?

I shampoo every two weeks or once week depending on how much build up I have on my hair. My hair is fine and I don't want build up.

But I co wash everyday.

Though I must say that when I shaved my hair and my hair began to grow because my hair is extremely hi po, I shampooed it daily with Dr. Bonner's castile soap (I switched to the mild baby unscented) followed by conditioner. I needed my cuticle to be broken down enough to accept moisture from the water and in my products better. I did this for three months until my cuticles started to lie down and my hair felt smooth.

Best,

I shampoo every 2 - 3 weeks now with Giovanni's Tea Tree Triple Treat. I used to shampoo 2x a month with a poo bar from Chagrin Valley. Both are sulfate free.

Currently I shampoo weekly to every 2 weeks since I've been wearing my hair loose. If my hair is twisted, I wait until I remove them. I mainly use Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat, but I'm slowly rotating in Giovanni's Smooth as Silk.

I shampoo once weekly with sulfate-free shampoo, always. Every now and then I skip a week due to lack of time or just co-wash instead.

I wet my hair often. I wash it every two days or so. It depends on how my hair feels. If it feels dirty I'm washing it. Once my scalp gets to the point of itching, it needs to be washed. I shouldn't have dirt under my nails after scratching my head.

Oh wow, I didn't know there was a bandwagon to use sulfate-free shampoos. Can anyone explain why? Also do sulfate-free shampoos get your hair as clean as sulfate shampoos?

I stopped using conventional shampoo, so I cleanse with ACV and water once a month and co wash the remaining weeks. My hair has never been this soft and moisturized since I started doing this..

I co wash daily. I don't use shampoo. I find shampoo overly drying and it causes my hair to tangle. My hair and scalp are clean and I haven't had any issues.

Between 1-2 times a week as needed. I don't even have to think about it. I've been doing this for over 30 years.

I shampoo with Cream of nature, protein with claudie's protein conditioner, then deep condition withmoitions moisture plus conditioner with heat.

I have not used shampoo in a few weeks as I'm trying out WEN. Before that I preferred to do weekly shampoos. Did I get to do that? Nope. Now that I use wen I definitely use it AT LEAST once per week but usually no more than that bc using it 1-2x per week 3 weeks later im out. So I've resorted to using WEN once a week and then rinse my hair 3 to 4 days later. Works pretty well for me.
When I did use shampoo, I did use sulphate shampoo, joico moisture recovery. That is the last shampoo I can remember using habitually (I tend to switch shampoo up quite frequently)

My hair thrives from water and sometimes it's a full shampoo, sometimes I just wet it and sometimes I'll just cowash. I would say 3-4 times a week it gets shampooed.
