My hair was molested tonight

Since this is about hair, I figured this would be the best spot to leave this.

So I'm sitting on the train, minding my business and reading my tablet. There were two girls sitting next to me chatting really loud and a guy sitting across from them and looking at them. There were other people on the train as well. So we get to this particular stop and the guy that was sitting across from the women gets up and walks passed me. I suddenly feel someone cop a feel of my twisted messy bun. This man grabbed my bun like it was no big deal!!! As he was getting off the train, a woman was walking on the train and saw him. She screamed "What the hell?!" I look up trying to figure out what just happened and in shock.

This was no bump or accidental nudge. This man used his whole hand and squeezed my bun. I went to the shopping mall bathroom to make sure he didn't put anything suspicious in my hair.

What the heck is wrong with people???

Wow, that is crazy. I guess you went right home and washed your hair. I wonder if that weirdo has a bun fetish; such a bizarre and random thing to do. :nono:

Weren't you the one who got rhymeswithfizz'ed on? You need to avoid strangers or carry pepper spray or something. I'm still traumatized from the last one

You need to be more aware of your surroundings (thats what my dad would say). I live in Chicago with a lot of crazies on the 'L' and I am always totally aware of the nearest crazy person's position (without looking directly at them). When he got up I would have automatically put my tablet in my lap and sort of followed him with my peripheral vision. If he walked behind me, I prob would have casually scooted up on the edge of my seat so I could turn my body a little in his direction so I could see what he was doing.

I hate taking the 'L'...glad I don't have to anymore but my words of advice are 'never take your eyes off a crazy person when they get close to you'. Also, I would not have taken out a tablet on the 'L'. Too much crime here. Im still afraid of someone snatching my iphone :look:

I LOVE this HHJ!!

I had an aggressive woman lean onto my hair in London. It's best to know where your hair is at all time and who is next to it. Unfortunately some people go crazy when they see thick or long hair.

Foxglove Yes, sadly it was me. I really don't think there was anyway to avoid this man. I'm sitting half way across a stall from him, he never made eye contact with me. He wasn't even looking in my direction. Didn't look threatening or crazy either. He was in a suite, with a brief case, and paper in hand.

mshoneyfly I'm sorry its so rough over there. :nono:
Yeah, I'm real aware of my surroundings. I'm always looking at people and listening so I can spot a crazy. As for this instance, my tablet was half way upward, facing me. My head was against the wall, but eyes on the tablet so I could use peripheral vision. I have a rather big bun of twisted hair (I'm not gonna lie, I've been told looks fake. But there was no excuse for what he did.

Here is a visual. I'm sitting on the middle bench on the edge. There are bars next to me. My head is against the wall- bun is in the center of my head. Man walks past me but stands close to the door. As the door is opening he grabs my hair and walks out. He was quick about, so the only people who could see it happen were the people about to walk on the train as he was leaving.

A strange man at a night spot on NYC grabbed all my hair and put it in a ponytail. That was disturbing.

Hello is me your looking for?

You already know what it is this is New York. I too have been hair molested but it was my braids in the middle of a club. I thought it was my friend messing with me at first and i turned around cause the hand was there to long it was this random guy. And he just looked at me like nothing happened.
krissyhair Now that's crazy.

Long hair is like a pregnant woman's stomach, some people are drawn to it and for whatever reason feel that they have a green light to touch it. Neither is cool. Sorry this happened to you and glad it wasn't worse. OT, but I was kissed on the cheek by a very dirty homeless guy in NYC a few years ago and I swear my cheek still burns when I think about it.

cynd My thing is, if you're curious, at least ask. How do you know I don't have lice or fleas or something. I'm kidding BTW!! Lolol

Oh and SlimPickinz already said it, but I've got a high affinity for crazies apparently. She and NGraceO witnessed some flockery at our last meet up. Lol But yeah, I'm thinking I'll start throwing holy water on folks now.
