I am in cornrows. I plan to be braided up until 12/2015. I will take it out do treatments and put some back in. My hair has to rest.

I'm also in that awkward stage where my hair can't be pulled in a bun or ponytail so I just wear a puff like in my siggy

. @JudithO- Do tell do tell :). How did you get defined twist?

After I wash, I put my hair in larger twists (like you would for a twist out) and roll it up using these pillow rollers.

Use Shea butter to seal or something that stretches great and fights humidity.

Sleep overnight in the rollers - next day I take them out, and unravel the base (but do not unravel the ends to maintain the definition). Pick roots for volume, smooth down and scarf edges with Aloe vera gel... and that's it.

I just put a silk scarf over my head at night and pick with my fingers in the morning for volume. No need to moisturize during the week and my retention is near perfect... :)

I wear my locs down 90 percent of the time. I had an ex (almost all his sisters were in the hair care industry as well) who told me I should but my locs in updos often to showcase the versatility of them.

I don't like tension on my scalp, so I can't be bothered.

I am in twists 90% of the time since ubam growung out my hair. I will put them in buns, updo's down, twist or braid my twists then wear them wavy or crinkley.
My twists are so versatile. If I wear my hair out it's in a stretched twist out

I wear twist-outs every day, and I work retail. Poohbear's hair is inspiring me to keep it rolling because hers looks like I hope mine will in about 6 to 8 months!

Wash n go. If I'm lazy a bun. Corporate needs to see natural hair a the norm so I try to wear my hair down as much as possible.

A twist out everyday, and I work in Finance. I actually see quite a few naturals in my area. One of the higher ups in HR and I big chopped the same wknd and came to work on Monday with our new natural hair. When she sees me in passing she gives me a little smile lol.

I wear my hair any way I want. Spring and summer it's either a twist out, twist and curl or wash and go. Fall and winter buns, buns, buns. Occasionally I'll throw in some Marley twists, a puff or crochet braids. They love my curls at work and a lot of times this "love" causes them to get their hands popped. Yes, I pop people at work. Don't touch my hair cuz I touch back...hard. They all know this but a few think they can get away with it...pfffft. Nobody gets a pass now because I've given a million verbal warnings. -_____-

Shingled wash n go after washing or co-washing 2-3 times a week. I tie my hair down at night, spray with a lil water and fluff my curls back up/out.

Thanks MarieB!!! :) I was wearing wash n go's for the summer but now have switched to braidouts. I'm still not over this APL hump. I want mid-back and possibly waist length one day (hopefully by the end of the new year 2015)!!!
