I miss her on this forum. Hope she comes back one day.

Her hair grows like crazy so I'm sure she will be waist length and fully natural in 2 weeks LOL

i remember the first time she tried to go natural....her and others, including myself....LOL

it's so funny how she changed her mind...and so did i. hilarious.....i never thought she would transition....just like i never thought i would.

her hair is lovely!

I think I remember saying before that would never be natural and now I have a TWA. :lol:

I was thinking where I know her from. She did a nice job with her transition, I remember when I was doing it I experienced a lot of breakage, especially in the back, I eventually cut it off when I couldn't deal with the unevenness of my hair.

sylver2, I followed you on Fotki back in the day, and you always said that you wouldn't go natural. Traycee adamantly said the same thing, so when I saw this thread, I immediately thought of you, lol.

I went natural. Still don't have the hang of what to do with it just yet & I don't suggest anyone do what's not right for them. But, I found it funny to see you here still sticking to your guns, lol! You have such beautiful hair! I kind of don't blame you. If it isn't broke...

I'd like to see her results too. When I transitioned, as Traycee stated, the relaxed hair stretches your curl pattern, so for me, it was easy at first. I never did the TWA, but the more growth I got, the more difficult it became.

Because she is far more versed in hair than me. Seeing her journey will be interesting and enlightening.

It seems like it would take forever to do the whole wash, detangling, flat iron routine. I would have either given up or bc'd. I can't wait to see how it works for her. Is she planning to be a straight haired natural?

I'd imagine she'll be straight haired. I wonder how far into her transition it is? I felt that the further along I was, the more difficult it became. Eventually, I cut a lot off at once, but couldn't go shorter than shoulder length.
