i consider my hair to be 4a with fine and coarse strands. also have major shrinkage. i take a multi-vitamin and will be using biotin. i exercise regularly and have good water intake. i plan to wig it most of the time but may do braids. my pre-challenge trim was the first one since May 2014. i think if i can make it to April, i will get past my awkward stage and resist chopping off my hair.

Joining! This thread helped me out in 2012. I've been lazy with my hair since having my dd2...paying for it so it's time to get back on track.

1. Starting pic (required for official challengers): will take one once I take out these crochet braids
2. Current Length: longest layer is apl, rest is sl
3. Regimen: wash and dc weekly, style in twists
4. What will you do to achieve your goal: m&s daily, baggie, do hot oil treatments
5. Anything else you would like to share: moisture retention is my biggest problem. I also need to take a good look at my diet.

I am going to invert for a week without oils once a month during this challenge. Today will be my first inversion and it ends on 1/1

HairPleezeGrow

Natural.MediumFine.3c.
So nothing new going on with my hair. I have it cornrowed on the sides (2 on each side) and then flat twisted the rest to have my hair lay down for my wigs. Going to oil my scalp then moisture and seal today.

Froreal3

I think I'm going to get some MN from Target or something to go w/my sulfur oils and pomades.

My shortest layer is about 9 inches and my longest is 12-13 inches. I will use these layers as my guide to track growth. I was going to do a trim in March, but I should wait until the challenge ends.
