Kenya Moore Instagram hair video

Her hair is beautiful. I think it's great she's coming out with a hair care line much like lots of people with long hair are doing. Some just endorse products so at least she has her own line to take a larger cut of the profit home.

i don't think she cares. lets face it hair is the grand hustle. And since she's a black woman with long hair people who never had and don't know any better will swallow her every word even if its all fairytales. would be nice if she did use her status to try to promote healthy habits though
she has to be relatable. "My hair is healthy because I deep condition every week, using this conditioner. I researched what ingredients really worked to help bring moisture and nourishment to my strands, so I developed these products that would be beneficial to all hair types!" type of marketing.

She should hire you. That is exactly the kind of marketing strategy she needs to win everyone over.

I think Kenya is late in the hair selling game now. Every black woman who has long hair or has grown long hair is trying to make money. The market has become so saturated and all the ingredients are pretty much the same to me, give or take a few preservatives. It is a bit disconcerting that some women are really taking advantage. I have even seen some women charging an excess of $200 in hair consulting fees. I learn enough off of this forum and I don't need another new hair care product.

Yeah, but on a digressive note and not about Kenya I was stunned to see how many black women have become hair consultants and charging so much money to assist black women on how to grow long hair. I don't have a problem with women valuing their services and putting a price tag on it but to charge an excessive amount of money just to assist women on how to have healthier hair is high way robbery.

You've been around these parts long enough to have witnessed quite a few women on here who did the same. They paid $6.50 (or $5 way back when :look:) to learn information that they are now charging a lot more for today via book sales, products, or discussions. That's why *I* refuse to buy a book from any of them. There is NO information in any of their books that is not already in some thread on LHCF.

I agree! Does that come with products and 4 weekly visits? Lol consultation should be $30-35, including a written analysis.

I saw one woman on a website charging $200.00 USD to get hair consultancy support, I mean does that mean one can call the person non stop like a doctor just to get hair advice. I was like wow!!!! But I guess W.C. Fields is right there is a sucker born every minute.

I teach people about hair care all of the time. It used to be fun, but hair care is no longer exciting to me. I've been doing it since I was a teen. People always tell me that I should hold seminars and charge money. If I wasn't bored with talking about it (and if I wasn't being lazy :look:) I would charge as much as I possibly could. It's up to others to choose to pay for it.

Her hair is very pretty and healthy looking. That’s what I call long hair, and knowing that’s she’s not 4 feet either makes a difference.

Pretty hair!! Sistawithrealhair is definitely her hair twin! I can't wait for my natural hair to get this length.

I think because she has always had long healthy hair she really needs to highlight the ingredients in her hair care line and post some videos of real life people using her products (with great results). If they are natural/high quality (ingredients) then it would be pretty hard for people to knock it, unless they just don't like Kenya.

If she's being smart about it she might be giving info in pieces to build up talk about it. Instead of making a giant advertisement for people to dissect in a weekend then forget about she's trying to tease people and make them want to know more about it.

I tend to wonder if that's all hers though

It's hers. Did you see the video of her parting her hair?

As others have said, she's always had long hair. I remember Wendy Williams routing through her hair to see if it was a weave. She came up with nothing. Why would she come out with a weave and pretend it's hers lol.
