They are full of ****. Glad you posted. And let's get into the fact that the Kumdashians wear WEAVE most of the time. Sickening. I have yet to see a white woman raving about their **** UNPAID. Meanwhile black women relaxed and natural stay using it making 15 minute long videos and writing essays to promote them

So glad I never purchased.

Glad I never purchased. Something about the lame names hairfinity...manetabolism...and the promise of long hair. It just feels like Im being sucked in and used. Everybody knows that its black women who want long luxurious "mainstream" looking hair because we are the ones without it (sorry for the sarcasm).

Yeah! And they ask you to take too many pills in one day. Thats what I dont like!!

I LOVE this HHJ!!

I watched the vid ,its a darn shame ,they should have invited a few natural bloggers to the event there s no excuse for them to divide mainstream vs natural ,they both gave them profit so they should be both included .
They took their main support for granted to reach a bigger group . Not a good business move
That stuff doesn't do anything anyway ,save your money ladies.

Wow I'm glad I've never bought these products. They are really trying to play the "separate but UNequal" game in 2014!

I will now start talking my friend into switching from hairfinity to manetabolism or another brand with basically the same ingredients.

OK I skipped around a little. So the company had a launch party and invited no one black? That's weird. I have thoughts but I'll keep them to myself.

So hairfinity is black owned but didnt invite any black people? :nono:

And to be patronizing to their own people who made them what they are , they said they will have a separate event for the natural hair community? Woooooow.

Glad I never gave them a single cent and now never will.

Personally I don't buy hair growth vitamins that I only see waist length, etc. hair promoting. Every time I see a hair vitamin ad the person has super long hair and they have always had long hair. That never sells me. I want a vitamin promoted by those starting with a twa then progressing on to various lengths.

Most of those youtubers promoting hairfinity have been sent the product anyway. I never trust videos whereby the youtuber was sent products for use and/or reviews.

The best thing we can do is stop letting companies take advantage of us. Stop blogging and vlogging and for free for companies that don't give a rat's behind. Just talk about hair care and reggies. Start talking about hair experiences. These companies think they can kick us down some free product and get a person to do a 10 min review and promo vid for free. They use social media's personable likeness and integrity to push their products. Enough is enough.

This needs to be passed around and this company needs to get their business from somewhere else. Let the mainstream run out and order 4-6 a week and do videos and blogs for free.

Wait. Hairfinity is Black owned. Wow. Smh. On the website I've only seen white type 1 hair so I assumed it was white owned and not marketed for my use.

Sadly, I do see this trend whereby Black owned companies don't have any Blacks on their webpages. For example, I was trying to find out if Q Redew was Black owned. I don't think it is.

Glad I never purchased them and never will. I even never knew that Haifinity was Black owned! In my hair I call it hair-finito loool but on a more serious note, Black bloggers/vloggers should stop promoting brands like this one and start getting paid to write about them. For real.

Funny but as recently as 2004, many black business owners felt the need to have a YT person represent their product to achieve acceptance and greater market saturation. ...Heard it from the horses mouth. "what we need is a white woman to....." Even then I was f'n floored! :rolleyes:So this is no surprise.

Yea. The vlogger in the op said hairfinity is black owned towards the end of the vlog I think. Idk whether her claim is true or not.

But check it, the event was their UK launch/press party. The stars werr the Kardashians. I believe thats a direct marketing to the black demographic that buys their products (black female 20somethings). Black UK bloggers were not good enough to invite but since they love Kim and Chloe so much.... Cuz really, what do those trashy women ever have to do with that product til the party and the (probably) hundreds of thousands they were paid for that appearance?

As far as these companies not having black models or blacks fronting their businesses, many studies since the 90s have shown that black models/spokespersons = less sales even amongst black consumers.

I agree with shortdub78. STOP PUSHING THESE PRODUCTS FOR FREE! Companies, black or not, will take advantage of the free publicity and leave your arses in the dust every single time.

I agree with everything that was posted BUT we all know that the BSS has always made millions from the black community :yep: Before Youtube and social media Asians had a lock on black dollars :yep:

The competition for the black dollar is between Europeans and Asian. As blacks we lost our advantage to support our own communities with dollars from purchasing beauty products back in the 70's.

I saw this a few weeks back and was so disappointed. But I've only purchased one bottle and it will be my last.

They did invite black blogger, just not natural hair bloggers. Patricia Bright, Shirley, and some other black bloggers were there. But like she said they were the straight hair girls who make white people feel comfortable.

ok, now I sense jealousy. I still see where she is coming from though, but She had me thinking no blacks were there. And to be honest, I have seen way more relaxed/straight hair naturals push their product. I don't know... I don't like folks telling half stories to suit their agendas. She had me ready with my pitch fork. Too much sensitivity going on right now. And I have been natural, bald, etc... I'm all for businesses embracing the natural hair movement, but don't have me going on a witch hunt got me thinking one thing.

^^^ She was complaining that it appeared they only invited 'beauty bloggers'. Patricia and Shirley B aren't focused on hair. Have you ever seen Patricia Brights hair? A horrible mess and I've never seen her mention Hairfinity on her channel nor Shirley's channel. Why would a company marketing hair growth aids chose someone like her over healthy hair care bloggers?

A couple people asked me about this company and I told them not to waste their time. I usually tell women to take a multivitamin or a prenatal. I know the long hair struggle is real but these pills contain no magic potion.

They endorsed Keshia knight-Puliam but I wouldn't be surprised if they took that away from her. I also trust no company that endorses the Thotrashian's. I'll stick with my Rainbow Light Prenatals thank you very much.

They were too expensive anyway so never purchased their product. Plus, I always thought that the hair grew in same rate as if you never took the product so I wasn't convinced that it helped with hair growth.
