I mean - it's the one place that I need to go ALONE.

I can't even concentrate with someone with me and it annoys me.

YES GIRL YES! I must go alone. For one thing, I like to take my time...compare...not hear "OMG YOU ARE BUYING ALL THAT!?"

It is funny when the BSS people know you. Four different ones say "HEYYYYYYYY! HOW U BEEN!" when I walk in the door. Shooooooooot, that is how I work my samples with my purchase.

"here is a little something for you. you will like it very much."

hahahahahaha! They probably say "sucker" when I walk out the door!

AAhhh yeah looks like ima haffta co-sign on the BSSA (a-anonymous). Um, Im not a product junkie per se but...I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BSS. What is sad is that, I don't have time to go during the week cause im so busy with school. So, I go on the weekends, and thats also time that my SO spend time together and he always gets pissed off. I like in Bklyn, flatbush area...and there is a strip called Church Ave. and they have like a BSS like every other store and yep i visit all of em:lachen: even though I walk out empty handed because Im flat broke  but I can't help myself. I am counting down the days till graduation, waiting for a job so that I can become the product Junkie that I wanna be!

see- that's the very same reason why I must go alone. no kids, no husband , nobody.

I don't wanna hear that junk :

"are you done yet?" "Can we go?"

un-unh-:nono: I'll turn crazy out this piece! Just me and the Lord so He can convict me of any unnecessary spending going on. lol-

I dream about going to the BSS. For the last 3.5 years I've lived in a town that's about 1% black and we have NO BSS's. My feelings were so hurt when I found this out. We have a Beauty Mart which has a couple boxes of cream of nature relaxer. We don't even have a Sally's. I have to drive 2.5 hours or order from the internet. I"m looking so forward to moving!!

 i can't say i blame him. i know i get mad when a guy thinks spending quality time together is a trip to best buy or sound advice. yeah next time go alone.

SO has been with me to Sally's only once. Ive learned my lesson.
20 minutes in I hear this "Are you ready to go?"
I tell him, "No, why don't you go around the corner and have a slice of pizza or something?"
Ok so he leaves, comes back, its been about 45 minutes.
I hear this "Are you ready to go?"
I tell him, "No I'm barely getting started. Didn't you say you wanted to go look at some speakers? Why don't you do that. Come back in an hour"

I got this look:mad:

So now I go alone. He knows when I say I'm going to Sally's I'm going to be gone 2-3 hours.:lachen:

I LOVE THE BSS!! They opened a new one nearby at the end of the year and I love it. It has every Dominican product you can think of, every kind of oil, relaxer, and everything else. At first I would go in every week, but now I have trained myself to go every other week. They all know me in there now. I love it. If it hadn't been raining so hard today I would have been already. I will going first thing in the morning. I need more Fermodyl 619 and BB Growth Oil, and whatever else I can get my hands on! Can't wait!!

I spend more time in Ricky's (NYC beauty shop) than the supermarket. I guess that's a good thing.

I may as well confess: I am a PJ

I went 2 days ago on my LUNCHBREAK and my co-worker looked at me with all my stuff and said "You're the only simpleton in captivity that goes to the beauty supply store and comes out with grocery bags"

How funny is this question:lol:! I am known to be a BSS addict. I will spend so much time in there and money. But I guess when hair is a passion to you getting excited about the BSS is just a fact of life, an expensive fact of life. At least it is for me:look: .

I loove the BSS!! :D

and not just the BSS---but ANY place that sells hair products!! I was browsing through Walgreens on my lunchbreak yesterday---messed around, went down the 'hair stuff' aisle....and left with a container of Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch leave in cream.......:look:

I need some serious help..... I always seem to 'need' something. I shoulda joined that pj 'just use it up' challenge!!

Girl, yes! I just stopped through there today. I bought some Elasta QP Mango Butter, Dark & Lovely Intense Protein Conditioner, Dark & Lovely Cholestrol Conditioner, CON Conditioner(red bottle), and Pantene Pro-V Breakage Defense. Not that you asked what I bought, but I thought I would share. You know, the excitement!:D

I am sooooo mad at my BSS right now. I just left there to buy barrettes, shampoo/conditioner, processing caps, etc. I am running low on my Fantasia IC Olive Oil Serum so I grabbed one and the price said $8.99:eek: I'm like WTF. I asked the owner why did the price jump up and he said some crap about that is what the company said it cost:confused: anyway I was like it was just $6.99 a couple of months ago....he had no answer. It seems like the prices went up on everything. Ladies was complaining about the prices on yaki hair, etc...If I can't find cheaper prices, I'm going to continue to buy all my hair products online:ohwell: Sorry, to vent, just mad at that BSS:perplexed

I've just been to the BSS-equivalent here in London (PAK-Store Finsbury Park)! Oh, I love that place. And the worst thing is, I've been there 3 times in two weeks! And I've bought lots all three times.
I'm always in full concentration when at the BSS, because I don't want to miss anything. Sad, eh? :)

I'm heading to the "house" today. I promise that I am going to only buy a protein conditioner and maybe a couple of hair accessiores (have to have my bun looking cute :D ). That is all, I'm not buying anything else. Now I may walk up and down the aisle and stare at all the pretty products that they have :lachen:
