I've decided to heat-train my natural hair.

Any recommendations for a GREAT flat iron?
Up to 450 is good as well now ...

FHI
I really liked my FHI Runway until I dropped it one too many times and it died.

Now I have a FHI platform. Its great too.

FHI Platform is great-- and it does't leave a burnt smell. Your hair looks pretty in your avatar, btw. Eta: You should watch some of Brittanynic16's heat training series (from beginning to end):

Laila Ali's flat iron is at the top of my list and I have two CHIs and a corlioliss(sp?). I believe it goes up to 450, it's ceramic and is the the only one the glides so smoothly through my 4c hair in one swipe. I wish i knew about it years ago because then I wouldn't have spent so much on my CHIs & corlioliss
