I've waited all week for the weekend to play in my hair. This weekend I'm trying out some new products!! :toocool:

I haven't used a cleansing conditioner in forever, but I will be trying Devacurl's Decadence No Poo.

I will also be trying for the first time:

Devacurl Decadence One Conditioner
Devacurl Heaven in Hair
True Leave-In Conditioner

I'm going against my own rule of not trying more than one new product at a time....but I'm living on the edge this weekend!!!! :headspin:

Tomorrow taking out my marley twists and then shampooing and deep conditioning with Bed Head's Dumb Blonde line. Hopefully attempt a wash and go with Uncle Funkys Daughter - curly Magic.

Finally finished taking down my Bradelocs now I need to clarify and do a protein treatment. I'm not sure if doing the 2-Minute Reconstructor will suffice or should I do a 2-Step since I've had these Bradelocs in since June and I still have a significant amount of relaxed hair, and I plan on relaxing in a few days.

Evening, ladies.

Tonight I'm going to clarify (Shea Moisture Professional "Clean Start) and deep condition (Shea Moisture JBCO mask).

Since the morning won't work, tomorrow night (Lord willing) I will do a wash 'n go (just a re-wet) using Kinky Curly Knot Today and Kinky Curly Curling Custard. It'll be my first time using the KCCCC. Should be an interesting adventure!

Blessings!

I'm not sure if this counts as a plan as it just kind of happened! I was thinking that I should really start using up things I won't buy again and decided to do a (sort of) oil rinse. In the end, I:

- DCd on dry hair
- shampoo with CoN
- oil rinse
- washed out with emu oil conditioner.

Currently wrapped in a towel drying. I'm not sure I washed the oil out well enough. I think this might be a bit of a failure...

Yesterday:

  • Washed with Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo, let sit, rinsed in shower
  • Applied and detangled with GVP Conditioning Balm, DCed with it. No rinse
  • Styled into braids for braid out with Ecostyler Argan

1. Last night I prepooed with coconut oil
2. Today I cleansed with Devacurl Decadence No Poo - I was not impressed. There was really no slip to the product and I found it difficult to "work" it into my hair and scalp. It seemed to tangle my fine strands more than anything. It left my hair feeling coated when rinsed.

3. Conditioned with Devacurl Decadence One Conditioner - I liked this way better than the No Poo. It did offer some slip and moisturized pretty well. I'm not sure if I will repurchase because it didn't really wow me, but I'll definitely finish the bottle.

4. Deep conditioned with Heaven in Hair - Hated it!! This stuff sucked moisture from my hair, I had to add more One Conditioner to get it to feel somewhat normal again.

5. I used True Leave-in and feel in love! Best leave in of 15' hands down! It offers great slip, and detangling was a breeze with this stuff! Going to buy more tomorrow.

I also used the True Butter Moisturizer. This product was nice too and felt great on my damp hair.

I finished off my wash day twisting with Design Essentials Curl Stretch cream.

Other products used:

WGHO (both original and light formulas)
Castor oil

I am prepooing with a mixture of oils (coconut, grapeseed, avocado and tea tree)
I am going to clarify with ORS aloe shampoo
I am going to then use Palmers Protein Pak
I am going to DC with Shea Moisture Manuka Honey Marula Oil conditioner

Then after that, IDK. Maybe blowdry and trim my ends.
