Post Megatek 5year Review

Hi everyone

I am a newbie and was lurking for a while

I just want to find out from the people who used MegaTek as a growth aid 3-5years ago : how is your hair now? Is the length retained when u quit it? Are there any long term "post Megatek" effects on your hair

Have never used it before but very interested currently, want to order. Just wanted to find out from the veterans if there's anything in the long run i should consider before making the decision to use

@YesToHair! - you may not find any long term 5 year plus users of MegaTek. The ingredients were changed a couple of years ago and many faithful users stop using the product. When it was popular - users used MTG or some other form of sulfur treatment to promote hair growth (i.e. WGO, Liquid Gold, Njoy's, DIY sulfur mix) in conjunction with it.

I just bought a bottle. I bought some a few years back and didn't use consistently. I ended up giving it to my mom. I just bought a bottle last week.

@ilong : i already ordered 1 bottle to test drive, i'm planning on mixing it with my Doo gro megatick oil, hope it works!

@Avyn : maybe when my bottle gets here we can compare notes to see if the new formula works. How u planning on using it? Mix/how often?

Good luck! I have 1/4 bottle of the original formula remaining. It's too bad the manufacturer changed the ingredients.

@ilong if you are interested I will purchase that 1/4 bottle from you. I was thinking of purchasing it this week but i keep thinking the results won't be the same because the formula was changed.

I didn't know the formula changed, but the ingredients looked good to me. I'm not a mixture at all so I plan on using it straight once or twice a week. I use an Indian powder blend once a week so I'll add this to my routine. I got another product that promotes growth, too, some kind of pomade I think. I can't remember what it's called. When they arrive I'll let you know.

@PureSilver - I plan on using the remainder of the conditioner. I know you were looking for the original formula, so had I. None of the equestrian stores in my area had any. I saw this on ebay
