I finally purchased something new yesterday (that I've never purchased or tried before). I purchased a bottle of dark JBCO. Yes, I know I'm late lol.

I know there must be a ton of folks here using JBCO.

Please tell me what you like most about using it, and what has it done for your hair / scalp.

I used JBCO when I was relaxed, after getting severe scalp burn. It worked great. I liked it b/c it help soothed the area. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it's alittle sticky.

I liked it because it was thick and when I added my essential oils to it I found JBCO "stayed in place" better than lighter oils have.

Using it by itself... it kept my scalp moisturized even when I washed it out.

I purchased it for the first time last month to "help" with my edges (my hairdresser doesn't believe that I've had fine edges my entire life).

On my hair, I like it for sealing. I also use it on my face at night. Last night, I made a mask with a pinch of baking soda and about two/three drops of JBCO and loved it! I washed it off with a little facial cleanser and my face is like butter. It was so good that it made me question my monthly facials lol.

I use it when my hair is feeling parched. It helps to keep it moisturized even though I only use it on my scalp. I added some essential oils to it to improve the smell to my liking, ie, peppermint, rosemary and lavender - leaves a nice tingle on my scalp:lick:. I've just joined the sulfur oil mix challenge, so I'll be using it for that as well.

Oh as a final note - I just started massaging it on my eyebrows - hoping for thicker eyebrows since I learned that castor oil is great for improving lash growth.

I'm going to start using it for dry scalp reasons. But my mom uses it now and she has diabetes and is on metformine which caused her hair to thin badly. She started using JBCO oil after I told her about it and her bald spots are gone! That's what made me buy some myself, I'm a believer now lol
