Reviews Of Premier Lace Wig Company?

Hi ladies.

I've just found out about Premier Lace wigs and from what I've seen (on YouTube) they look really good.

However, I do have my reservations since these Youtuber get wigs sent to them.

Has anyone had any personal experience with th is company.

I'm interested in buying a kinky straight wig from them as it's very affordable.

Hi @NefertariBlu. I've bought two kinky straight wigs from them this year. The hair is great, no tangles and absolute minimal shedding and what feels like generous with their length. I've cut several inches off my current unit and it still reaches my mid-back. I haven't had to return anything, so I don't know how they deal with that, but they are prompt and are great at adhering to your requests.

Hiya. Do you have any pics?

Did it have smell?

No smell at all. I make custom orders because my measurements often don't match stocks. The first two pics are the silk top (higher density than I would like). The second pic (extra light density) is my newest love lol, and is full lace.2015-09-09_22.57.37.jpg

I like the first wig. I think that would suit me since its matches what my hair would look like when blow dried.

They both look good on you! I'm a newbie when it comes to wigs so I need something that doesn't take a lot of tweaking.

Hmm, it's going to be between this company and Eva wigs. Just trying to decide which one.

@NefertariBlu Thank you for the compliment:). From what I've seen on this board in the wig challenge, both companies make some great-looking units. I too am a newbie when it comes to wigs but in the last year I've learned that most wigs need a fair bit tweaking to look good and/or natural.

I like the convenience of the silk top; not having to worry about plucking partings, lace grids and knots but I still had to tint the silk several times with hair dye (thanks Philip Eric Hair on YouTube) in order to match my scalp- their brown silk is not at all brown lol. But you have to be weary of the demarcation line between silk and lace.

All that being said, I prefer lace only. One thing I will say is make sure you read up on various cap contructions on offer from a site before you buy. In my eagerness, I made that mistake with my initial order, and didn't realise their glueless cap would not have a lace edge smdh.

Yes. I wasn't sure about the silk top as I wasn't sure if it just sat on top of the hair line. But I'm also not a fan of how visible the lace is even with concealer. I feel really self concise thinking that everyone will be looking at the parting.

I know that feeling:yep:. The lace on this wig I have is not noticable, even though I can tell (it's suppposedly Swiss but I am not sure because it looks like French). Remember, you know what to look for ;).

For the most part, if you have a good application i.e lace matches your skin tone, your knots are bleached and you wear a skin toned cap underneath, it helps the lace blend a whole lot better. I don't even have use make up on this one.

@All4Tris The hair is lovely, no? You should throw that bad boy on and pop down the shops at least, just to give it a taste of the outdoors:lol:.

Aww thank you . I think im going to order the lace. This will be my second lace wig. I bought one past year from Eva wigs but the cap was too big! I didn't like the way it looked on me as a full wig so I turned it into a u part. The hair was too silky fit me to feel comfortable with it, so I got rid of it.

The hair quality was great though.

Are you from the UK @AbsyBlvd?

I'm going to check out Philip Eric and go through the wig challenge thread.

I started reading the last couple of posts but I think I'll have to go back a little further.
I want to get something in the black friday sale so I need to do as much research in what I want.

Hello is me your looking for?
I have a kinky straight wig from them. The wig challenge thread was defiantly a help in choosing the right wig. I like it a lot and I am thinking about purchasing one for black friday. My head is big so mines could have been a little bigger and i had use a marker to darken the lace in the part and around the hairline in the front. It does not tangle, does not smell , does not shed and is easy to wash.

That's what I saw from the other reviews that the cap is small. What size did you get @cinnespice. Looks like they come up small.

@NefertariBlu Yes, I'm a Londoner.
Lots and lots of research, and the ladies in the wig challenges (past and present) really helped me get to grips with wigs.
I knew it! Just from your post I knew you were from the UK.Yay!:bounceline:

I'll see if there are any discounts next week but it looks like I will have to order a bigger cap size.

Hey Ladies - I received it earlier this week. It's clean, fresh and very nice. I thinned it yesterday with thinning shears and tweezing - took a good couple of hours. I was a little disappointed that I had to do that, as I ordered 80% density, but it still looked like 100%+. The light brown lace top is a bit too light, but it's better than non at all. I plan to get another as a back up, and will try ordering 40 or 50% density. I ordered a small cap and it fits perfectly. The customer service was great too. This is the one I ordered: http://www.premierlacewigs.com/indian-remy-hair-full-lace-wigs-kinky-straight.html

I just received my order of Kinky Straight Glueless Lace Front Wigs in a 14inch, 80% density.

The wig is poorly made. All they did was take a stock wig and thin it out with thinning shears. There are all these short pieces of hairt hroughout the wig...

It may not be that they thinned it, but the short strands are the folded ends of the hair- just a possibility. My light density (60%-80%) had these noticeable short strands but after washing and wearing a while, the lay down and blend with the rest of the hair.

@nubiangoddess3 Can you contact customer service and send it back?

I contacted customer service, but I didn't notice the short piece till after I washed the hair and started to flat iron it. I'm not sure I can return it, but I will post pics

I've been there before (not with this company), I hope they give you a refund. I also have some rather some not so fun stuff to report-shedding. It's been shedding a lot since I washed it yesterday, and I did the "gentle swishing in cool water" and all that. Hopefully it sorts itself out. It still had more hair than I wanted on it anyway. I think I'll try somewhere else for my backup. I Really like this cap though...

Yes, the cap construction is great but the hair quality sucks. Mine is also shedding after the wash... Goodness no companies quality seem to last long. They all start off good in the beginning then start sending out crap ..
