I'm not sure if anyone uses Wen hair products here but there are tons of customers that have complained of hair loss. I used to use thei conditioner years ago. now the company is being sued. Just FYI

I heard about this today. I'm glad I never got any of their products. What stopped me was that people complained about being over charged and charged even when they sent back the products and asked that their orders be cancelled.

But of course WEN is fighting this hard but the pictures dont lie. I would have a heart attack if my hair fell out like these people. These stories are sad.

I heard this a while back but wasn't sure about it until I saw it on CBS-E news this evening. I did use a trio set before when it first came out but never re-ordered, thank God.

I decided I can't be a conditioner only girl. While I may only use shampoo 1-2 times a month, I feel a need for suds in my hair at least that many times a month.

I notice Chaz Dean still advertises a lot every saturday though.

That's what these women were saying. Because the shampoo didnt clean their hair, their hair follicles got clogged and the hair started to fall out. I like to feel suds to that way I know its clean.

I have been using Wen for more than 5 years and now my dd's use it and we have had no problems whatsoever........I get mine from QVC never bought from the infomercial.

Wen is the ONLY thing I wash/condition my hair with if I have used any other shampoo or conditioner it was because my beautician did my hair or it was something my dd had in the shower but I have pretty much been an exclusive Wen user both as a relaxed head and natural for years.

I was a victim of this. I bought my wen off the infomercial. When I found out about the hair loss issue, I cancelled my subscription. I do think I experienced some excessive shedding even though I didn't use wen exclusively.

Idk if it was stated in the other thread, but there are apparently two formulas of the conditioner. The first version has the more natural ingredients at the top of the list, and this is the good version. The bad version has the more natural ingredients towards the end of the list and this is the formula that causes hair loss. For instance, the good formula has organic aloe vera juice listed second, and the bad formula has regular aloe vera juice listed 6th.

I had a few bottles of each formula, but I sold the bad stuff. I'm trying to sell the other products that came in the kit too because I just don't use them. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the good formula wen that I have.

Also, I think that only certain sellers still sell the good version, QVC and Chaz's website are two, but I could be wrong.

I haven't used any wen products at all in the past year, and I definitely think my hair has regained thickness.

I wouldn't risk it. Not until WEN comes out and says what in their formula could be causing hair loss.

My mom used wen (auto ship from QVC) exclusively for about three years. At first her hair was the healthiest and longest it had ever been ... then it began thinning and falling out in spots all over her head...so badly you could practically see her scalp in some areas. I suggested that it could be her Wen as nothing else had changed in her routine and she wouldn't hear of it although her hair continued to break. Finally about a year ago I sent her a few articles and pictures of what other women were experiencing with Wen and she stopped using it. Her hair is slowly rebounding. Ugh what an expensive dissapointment and she still has a truck load of it left. :angry2:

I used it for years and didn't experience any hair loss. I did have breakage, but that was because my fine hair loves/ needs/ thrives on protein and a Wen-only diet was cutting it. I only bought it from QVC. I only cancelled my subscription cuz I went natural and switched over to mostly black-made products.

I'm a WEN user and have been using it for over 7 years and have never had any issues with hair thinning or hair falling out. Very sad for the ladies that have had problems. I order mine from QVC so I've never had a problem returning or stopping auto delivery.

Smh! This makes sense!! That's what they get for trying to change things up when stuff has been working just fine! Trying to cheapen the product and make more money. This is the only thing that makes sense.

I couldnt find any where on the internet a full list of ingredients....I found a list of the good stuff but nothing other than that. Its like they are hiding something.
That's scary... isn't that illegal to not have a complete ingredients list on a bottle?

I used to use Wen back in the day but stopped because it was to expensive and they want you to use a ton of product. I hope the company gives these women something for their pain and suffering.

I used wen for years. Still do. I never used it as a scalp cleanser. I never applied it on my scalp. I used it as a conditioner only. I never liked the idea of using any conditioner as a shampoo.

No telling what they've been doing to get around that unless they put enough up there to satisfy the law. I was able to find was glycerin, chamomile extract, wild cherry bark, rosemary extract and panthenol for the conditioner.
