Weave Experts I Need Your Help

So I bought some weave for my mom based on the recommendation from Shamira (Reniece and Company). But her recommendation is a little confusing and I would hate for my mom to show up to her appointment and not have the right stuff so I am asking you ladies:) Also trying to get them to call me back or answer an email is proving to raise my blood pressure:/ so I am not even sure I will be making any further appointments which is a shame since they were highly recommended.

For the Indique Hair I got Bounce Collection Relaxed Straight just because it was exactly like she wrote on the attached card:( This hair was also way more expensive than the other starting at $189:O. https://www.indiquehair.com/shop/bounce-relaxed-straight.html

For the ONYChair.com was she trying to say Relaxed Perm or Lightly Relaxed Perm($129.99)?

My question is next time could I get the cheaper hair??? I only ask because the hair is non refundable and if I get the wrong hair I am pretty much stuck with it.

TIA for your suggestions

Get the cheaper hair. Does she require those brands of hair or just suggested those brands?

Those are the suggested brands and since I have not purchase weave hair in my adult life. I have no experience to rely on. Thank you for your recommendation

I can't speak to the onyx hair but I just purchased and had the bounce installed and love it. If it holds up for several installs then the price is justified vs replacing every 2 with a cheaper hair.

I've never understood jumping through hoops and paying a lot to go to these popular stylists, and then wanting to show up with cheap BSS hair. Don't get me wrong, some "Bobbi Boss and Remy" hair does look nice. But that isn't quality hair and to me I don't see a reason to pay R&C prices for cheap hair. Personally I would stay away from Hallie's. They are the rebranded Halley's Curl.

Hi Winona!

Both Indique hair and ONYC hair are high quality hair. I have had clients keep them both for well over a year for back to back installs. I have worked with both hair recommendations and love both and Reniece and Company have worked with both as well. Shamira may have been giving you choices depending on your budget. I am pretty sure which ever one you choose will be just fine.

After a little more research on LHCF I hear a lot of people say they reuse this hair. Does the stylist take it out for them? Because I do not foresee my mom taking it out carefully enough to reuse :( If she likes this place I will help her set up her next appointment after this one.

You would have to make another appt to take down. Ask the stylist when your mom is getting it installed how much take down will cost.

She can pay to have it removed by a stylist. Go with the cheaper suggestion. Realistically how many times will she reinstall? I use herimports for my hair.
