In here! Cant wait to love on my hair for another year. I've learned that Im too lazy for bleached hair. So I'm actively growing out my dyed ends.

Goals
- reach BSL
-stay on top of trimming my ends
-keep my hair stretched to prevent knots and tangles
-DC at least once per week with my tried and true Silk Dreams products

1. What product(s) did you use?
Alikay Naturals Avocado Cream Moisture Repair Mask on wet hair
2. How long did you DC for?

Over 20 minutes. Did not rinse it out

3. What method of DC did you use (cap, steamer, etc)
Soft bonnet dryer
4. Most importantly – How did your hair respond?

One of the best deep conditioners/masks I've tried. Definitely credit it for how my straightened hair turned out today. Since my hair is super soft and fully/properly moisturized it wasn't a struggle to straighten. Finished quickly and my hair came out smooth. Didn't revert as I was flat ironing or anything

I demi-colored my hairline with Matrix color system in black and washed my hair this morning with Redken Color Extend shampoo followed by Redken Color Extend Conditioner to detangle.

Now I'm sitting under hooded dryer with Redken Real Control Intense Renewal Super Moisturizing Mask on.

All the Redken products I used today are a hit. I loved them. I have to be careful with the shampoo because it flows out of the bottle too liberally and I don't want to waste it.

My hair feels super moiturized. The demi color tend to leave my hair feeling dry but not with the color extend products. Awesome!

Happy New Year Ladies!!!

I decided to kick off the year with a bang and pre-poo'd overnight with an AVJ mix, mixed Soultanicals Scalp Detox with ORS DC and sat under a heat cap for 1 hour. My hair and scalp feel really good right now.

I'm in....this should be an easy challenge for me because it's already party of my regular weekly regimen. I am actually deep conditioning as I type.

1. What product(s) did you use?
Shea Moisture Superfruit Masque (weekly)
Shea Moisture Purification Masque (@monthly)

2. How long did you DC for?
Overnight (but only a few hours if I have something to do)

3. What method of DC did you use (cap, steamer, etc)
I put 2 plastic bags on my hair, cover that with my scarf, then cover that with my turban then sit under my Pibbs for an hour.

I have sat under the dryer for as little as 20 minutes and has just as good results but my deep conditioning time is part of my me time so I find something relaxing to do while I'm under the dryer and before I know it the dryer has stopped and an hour has passed.
4. Most importantly – How did your hair respond?
Since using this deep conditioner I feel that my hair has definitely gotten stronger. This conditioner leaves my hair soft yet strong and very moisturized.

I'm IN for this year again! Try to USE UP all the products I have.
Will be steam deep conditioning mostly with my q-redew steamer, and moisture conditioning with random conditioners every other week.
Protein conditioning once a month with: Shea moisture jbco mask, aubrey organics blue algae mask, and aubrey organics gpb
My goal is to maintain my healthy hair.

Happy New Year ladies!
DCed today with Kinky Kashmere's DC under soft bonnet dryer for 30-45 minutes (I usually do 30 but got distracted)
This DC is a no go. First couple of uses it was good. These last uses up until I finished it was just okay.

DC'ing with the mane choice carrot and green tea conditioner. I finished the bottle and have been pleased with it. it always leaves my hair very soft. Not repurchasing because one, it's like 16 dollars a bottle plus shipping and two I'm trying to use my stash. I'll purchase again the next time she has a 50% off sale.

Current DCs - 1 moisture, 1 protein/strengther all by Reneice.

I use my hot head conditioning cap for 30 mins.

I use the moisture DC to cowash the length of my hair and to DC every 2 weeks. The protein DC will be used once every 6 weeks.
