Brewing a mix of:
Fenugreek
Moringa
Burdock
Slippery elm
Marshmallow root
For tomorrow's wash.
That brew sounds delightful! Your hair is gonna love you! Are you brewing the seeds, powders or dried herbs, and if using powders, do you brew it the same way and just sift out the residue or leave the residue in, since it's just a rinse and so the powder residue rinses off. Tia

Got my henna on

Also on a mission to use up my homemade fenugreek oil I made over a year ago if its still good. It will be a period of course.

Also have a ton of powders that need to be used up.
I need to do that too. Have you ever considered using your powders for a "rinse method" and if so, how would you use them? Tia

Hi @grow for that brew I use dried leaves. When I do use powders I often will put them in heat sealed tea bags to contain them. Rinsing the powders out is relatively easy enough but if you don't get them all out they can be drying and irritating.

Black Coffee Rinse
Burdock Root Tea Rinse

I made a green+rosemary+sage tea blend, which I used for last weekend's wash day and may use for the next two wash days.

I used this tea blend, again, on my wash day last Sunday. I will likely use it one more time before I brew a fresh and different blend.

I didn't use the Claudie's hair tea spritz though. I will use it tonight.

ETA: I forgot that I used aloevera gel on Sunday too.

Continuing to use Claudie's Hair Tea Spritz as my leave in.
Also used Bobeam's Cocoa & Rhassoul clay bar to cleanse my hair yesterday.

Currently have henna in my hair after far too long trapped in braids. Used cassia oil, coffee oil and neem oil last night and this morning, then I applied the henna to dirty hair this morning.

My henna mix: coffee and yogurt.

Today was CoWash Saturday for me. I pre-poo'd overnight with my AVJ spritz and Hairitage Butter on my ends. This morning, I applied a mixture of Curly Kinks DC, HydroQuench Honey Pineapple Hibiscus DC & Brahmi Powder and went under my heat cap for an hour.

Made 10 heat sealed baggies of bhringaraj and triphala powder. Mainly to add to my blend that I have for growth because that tea blend isn't moisturizing at all.

Brewing the moisturizing blend (Fenugreek, slippery elm, Marshmallow root, Moringa, burdock) along with one baggie of triphala and bhringaraj. For tomorrow's cowash.

I've never heard of triphala. I'm off to do some research.

I found one bottle of Terressentials Cool Mint hair wash in my stash and used it over the long weekend. My curls really clumped when using it, and it smells divine. I'll be sad when it's gone.

I also sprayed my hair and scalp with green tea before applying leave-in.
