Yesterday I cleansed with Teressentials Hair Wash in Cool Mint. I'm just about out of this, so it's back to DIY clay masks. After the clay I sprayed my scalp with a mix of green tea, spirulina, and chlorella. Spirulina in my smoothies caused a growth spurt over the Fall, so I'm wondering if applying nutrients directly to my scalp will help my follicles. Among other things, Spirulina and Chlorella contain biotin.

Afterwards I finished w/KCKT and KCCC.

Aw, hey thanks @IDareT'sHair

@nothidden - what's the texture of the spirulina? I crush biotin tabs directly into my scalp oil mix, they turn into talc and dissolve/dissappear instantly. I'd be VERY interested to learn if spirulina was the same! Otherwise I'll start ingesting if it doesn't dissolve - what does it taste like, please let it be good lol!

So I'm going to try a black tea prepoo on my roots only tonight. They're my natural hair color so I'm not too worried about the tea staining or darkening my lightened hair. I haven't decided if I'm going to recolor this summer or just let my hair be. Tomorrow I'll be doing a clay wash. I'll probably skip my green tea rinse since I'm doing a hard protein treatment.

Well I use the powder and it is very, very fine. It dissolves very well in liquid. Not grainy at all. I take Spirulina and Chlorella together. But since I take twice as much spirulina, I am assuming the fishy taste of my smoothy is from sprirulina. I sometimes add lemon to mask the taste, but more often than not I don't even bother. I'm used to the taste now, but I wouldn't say it tastes good. It's bearable.

I mixed my cassia oil into the last bit of my sunflower oil mix in an applicator bottle so that I'd stop forgetting to use it. IIRC it has sage, rosemary and sunflower oils and now this cassia blend. I applied it this morning after spraying my hair down with the CON argan leave in.

drinking more of the teas than rinsing hair :look: did an ACV rinse with rosemary and lavender EOs on Tuesday. This weekend will tea rinse with a brew of nettle and catnip with EOs. Also found a recipe on a random website for a homemade leavein detangler using EOs, marshmallow root, ACV and conditioner. Will give that a try this weekend as well.

Can i join in? Hopefully it's not too late

I recently discovered ayurvedic powders and tea and i have been using them for about 2 weeks.
I currently use a moisturising tea spritz on my hair daily containing green tea, rosemary, bamboo silica and marshmallow to moisturise 2x a day...... i also infused fenugreek powder in olive oil for 2 weeks, which i use to massage my scalp daily with....i used the same oil as a prepoo treatment...i have to say that since incorporating these, i have noticed my new growth is not as shrunk as it used to be and my hair is stronger. I am loving using them for my hair and can't wait for my next wash as i planned to do a mustard and cinnamon powder hair mask with coconut milk
