I met Jane Carter of Jane Carter Solutions yesterday at the Natural Products East Expo.
First, let me say that she has beautiful hair. It looked so healthy, moisturized and in great condition. It is about shoulder length and dark brown, with gorgeous defined curls.
I do not think that pictures and videos do her justice. She really is a beautiful woman.
She looked to be in her late 30's /early 40's and she was just very pleasant and nice to speak with. I mentioned to her how excited I was to see her products at Target because I hate going to Korean and Asian owned beauty supply stores and she mentioned that her product will soon be available in Wal Mart and CVS.
She was very generous and gave me several jars of samples.
I could not wait to go home and try them. My hair is 4b Natural and I am currently wearing a wig for the fall and winter. I washed my hair this morning and used her samples.

I washed my hair with Shikaki shampoo and I tried the Curl Defining Cream.
( http://www.janecartersolution.com/Curl-Defining-Cream.html) Loved It!
It really did stretch out my hair, and give it a nice hydrated feel.
I brushed my hair with my Denem brush and put my hair in a low bun. The Curl Defining Cream has a light texture like that of expensive body cream with a light scent. It really is a fabulous product.
I also receive jars of the Scalp oil (http://www.janecartersolution.com/Scalp-Nourishing-Serum-1oz.html) but I have not used it. I also received jars of Nourish and Shine for dry hair and skin. I used it on my elbows and it was great. Did not put it in my hair yet. I do not like to put too many things in my hair, but I am very pleased with how my hair responded to the Curl Defining Cream. I see this becoming a staple when I want to wear my hair out.

Cool that you got to meet her. I like her leave in moisturizer spray, mixed with some avocado oil. Nice scent and I can use it daily. I add the oil because my hair eats it. It makes my hair so soft and the scent is light. Makes it easier to throw my french braids in and walk out the door. I'm 4a, thin hair, SL and I live in Michigan where winter kills all the moisture.

Her husband is really nice. He used to visit all the local hair salons in Northern NJ to sell her products. He is comical.

Nourish and Shine is my favorite product. It's been a staple in my house for many years. When I'm traveling and limited to what I can pack, I take my Nourish and Shine for hair and body. It's a wonderful, wonderful product.

Don't sleep on this ladies if you've never tried it. Hmmm.... the smell is great too.

mzteaze, I remember that because I went to college at Montclair State Univ and her products were in like every salon, Dominican and the non-cheap black ones. I loved that N&S and people laughed at me for spending $20 on a "grease" at the time.

OP, that's a really great report. Reminds me of Ms. Tracy from Bee Mine. I will happily support them both. Knowing the person behind the company is a sweet, genuine person really makes a BIG difference in where I spend my money!

In this case, "yt" stands for "white." You are pronouncing the letter "y" and tacking a "t" sound on the end.

But sometimes on the internet (including this forum), "yt" stands for YouTube.

The context will usually tell you.

P.S. Yes, "idk" stands for "I don't know."
Thank you I get the yt now your explanation is real good thanks :)
