I used to be the biggest Shea Moisture hater, smh. But as of lately, their products have been working well for my hair. What are your faves from them? And by they way, I cannot believe how huge their line has become now.

I love the Marine Collagen shampoo (blue/green packaging). Its color safe, makes my curls pop, leaves my scalp and hair clean without being squeaky, and smells nice. Ive only seen it at Sally's lately, though it used to be at target. I think i had the conditioner at one point, but idk where it is

I also like the Manuka Honey line. The masque was surprisingly hydrating and smoothing for a drugstore conditioner. The shampoo was also very nice

I used to hate their products as well but their newer lines have worked well. I have been loving their new masks. My favs from the line are:

JBCO shampoo
Superfruit and Sacha masks (both have become HGs)
Purification Mask

I'm upset that the purification mask is so hard to come by...at least in my area. smh. it's an awesome product.

Not a super fan and I'm phasing out their products, but I like their

Professional Leave-In (bought on a whim and it hasn't been bad) and
Curl Enhancing Smoothie (have used this for years but phasing out for MHC Type 4 Cream)

a yt vlogger was raving about the slip in that detangler. and I agree, my daughters hair has always loved SM products.

Professional Napper
Raw Shea butter deep treatment masque - I use this as a cowash, styler and dc
Curl enhancing smoothie - I have to use a light hand with this one since I have fine hair
Raw Shea butter detangler - amazing at detangling on damp/wet hair. Can be a great midweek moisturizer if you mix with a little water

I haven't tried a lot of their products. I've tried the Manuka mask, I think. And then another mask with blue labeling. They were ok. I want to try them again to see how they work now, since I have a better understanding of my hair now than I did then. I used the smoothie and souffle, and it keeps my hair really soft, but it feels coated. I think I used too much. If I can figure out the right balance, i will probably stick to this line because it seems to work very well.

my hair (relaxed) loves the JBCO, Professional, Manuka Honey lines. The HiPo co-wash also works well. The HiPo masque works ok but definitely need to use another moisturizing conditioner afterwards. Probably won't repurchase the masque and will go back to my babyface protein treatment.

I'm relaxed and I like the SuperFruit, Purification, and HiPo lines. My local BSS had the Purification masque at 40% off, so I was fortunate to grab 4. I just tried the HiPo line for the first time and I'm in love with the masque. My hair was bouncy and light.

The Sacha mask is good? I haven't tried it, need to go to Ulta.

I've had a love/hate relationship with SM but it's turning into a love with these new lines. My favorites are:

High Po Poo and Mask
Superfruit Mask
Purification Mask

From what I understand you can still order the Purification Mask from their website.

Girl, the Sacha is better than the Superfruit and I LOVE the Superfruit. I do not like the smell of it but for the performance, I can manage.

I do plan on picking up the High porosity mask once I get rid of other crap.

You are right, you can still pick up the purification mask on their website.

My favourite is the deep treatment masque. I use it as a moisturiser not conditioner. My hair hated it as a conditioner but loves it for my LOC method.

Love the puririfaction masque and curling souffle.

Didn't like the super fruit masque or JBCO leave in conditioner.

Not a Lover, but I do enjoy the Purification Hair Mask. Once I use up what I have I will probably move on.

I did like the JBCO Mask as a Pre-poo (and would probably buy it again on Sale).

I have Superfruit and the Manuka Honey Mask left to try.

I love the JBCO leave in. Just wish it didn't come in a tub.

I like the Superfruit mask as an in-shower DC (after I cowash, I add a mask and leave it in while I shower) and either the JBCO or Manuka Honey as a DC w/ heat.

I also like the Black Soap scalp treatment to cleanse my scalp before I co-wash.

The purification mask was my jam back in the day...may have to pick that one up soon.

I love the 10-in-1 Superfruit masque. It gives great moisture and is smoothing as well. I also love the Restorative Conditioner as a leave-in. Really, any of the rinse-out conditioners as leave-ins are good for me because they are lightweight (to lightweight to use as a rinse-out for me) yet still give great moisture. I also love the Curl and Style Milk, but I hate the size and price because I have a lot of hair. I also really like the Curl Enhancing Smoothie mixed with the Curling Gel Souffle. Together, you get great hold and moisture. Separately, the CES is a little too thick and doesn't give great definition and the Gel Souffle dried way too hard. A lot of people complained about the Curling Souffle being greasy, but I didn't get that.

I still have the Deep Treatment masque (I plan on using this as a styler), the Manuka Honey masque, the JBCO masque, the JBCO Leave-In and the Extra-Moisture Detangler in my stash to try.

Okay I like the Superfruit so that's saying a lot. The only thing that turned me off of the Sacha mask was the smell, but it might be worth a shot.
Even though your hair is much thicker and denser than mine, it seems to like the same things so I will have this on my radar.

I HATE the smell too. I can't describe it but I don't like it. But girlllll...the slip and softness...:cloud9:

Shea Moisture will be at the hair show. If you go, pick up a jar!
