When I lived in Montreal my go-tos were www.lovethyhns.ca and www.inhairitance.ca, I met the founders and both were so lovely! I also used www.honeyfig.com/en/ and www.nijala.com as backup. All four businesses are owned and created by black women.

inHAIRitance also did hair! It's only for naturals so they did not provide relaxer services and only styled textured and transitioning hair. I also loved that all the ladies there are required to read The Science of Hair before being employed. I've never had such an great salon experience! As a natural I have yet to straighten my hair, and I keep finding myself considering flying back to the US via a long layover in Montreal just to have those ladies straighten it. :look:

If you live in southern Ontario then NY is your land of beauty supply. Ulta, Galleria Mall, Burlington coat factory, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls haul.

I purchased from careforthehair.com, they're still brand new and do not carry a whole lot of products, but what they have I like.

If I remember correctly they carry Alikay naturals, As I am and a few other brands. They also offered free shipping when I bought from them...not sure if it's still available...
