Vacation Hair...i Need Ideas

Hello,
I'm going on a vacation to Disney World a week before I start my second year of nursing school. I need a hairstyle, conducive for natural hair, that will be able to withstand water and last for a month to two months. Can anyone give me any ideas? My initial idea was to get small braids with human hair that can be worn back in a ponytail for clinicals.

Thank you in advance!

Congrats on starting your second year of nursing school. I'll be starting my 3rd and final year September 6th. As for your hair, I think braids would be a great option. You can get then up and out of the way for clinicals and they'll hold up pretty well for you on vacation.

image.jpeg @trebell Ive traveled with crochet braids. You can wear the hair loose, or in twists/braids. This is my current install. I was in Trinidad and Colombia. At the beach I wore my hair in a bun with a cute headband. I could've worn it down, but it was hot and humid

I just can't get these photos right lol

I had crochets during my last clinicals but it was hard to put them in a ponytail. I have weak edges also so it's impossible to do the vixen crochet. I'm almost thinking of just bothering with my natural hair. It's so hard to conceal it with certain protective styles.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Awe thank you. I'm excited that you're almost done with school. I did healthcare management first when I was younger. And nursing school is so much harder!! Yes I'm leaning towards getting braids, my edges are just a little weak. But they'll be best for clinicals. If not I'll just wear my hair in ponytails for awhile.

Well if you have issues with your edges, I would go with a style that doesn't out stress on them. Wearing your natural hair may be the best option to prevent and unnecessary setback

Bent. Not Broken.
If youre going to be in chlorinated pools or even natural water ways, youre going to need to chelate and clarify out your hair from chemicals and bacteria.

Keep it simple in buns , tuck and rolls, flat twists etc. Would hate for you to lose hair because stuff got trapped between the braids, tracks or on the scalp.

Yes this sounds like a good idea. I'm just a little past my shoulders so it need to preserve my hair.

I was on YouTube looking at kimmaytube. My hairs been so dry so I was going to make her leave in. Watching her 2015 hair review video. She grew her hair 4in from APL to MBL. I need to figure out how she does this!!
