Yes, I also received the email, but does she do non-weave styles? I would only go to her for cuts. I decided I don't want weaves anymore.

I ran in here so fast because I've been thinking I would certainly travel to see her. My bling jealousy goes into overdrive when I see her clients talking about her here!

I got the email.

I'm tired of the process at this point and I think I registered some time in the fall to receive updates.
I know she's great. I know there's a reason she doesn't take on too many clients, but getting a hair appointment shouldn't be this tricky.
I totally understand where you are coming from....but she is truly one of the few black hair stylist that truly has a hair "care" approach to hair maintenance for black women. I think she should open a school would love to have a reniece here in Canada.

I got a consultation with Shamira!!!! I'm just happy to be on their books because now I can be an official client anytime. And I'm sure I'll be able to book a weave with any of the stylist. How did you ladies fare? Any consultations booked?

I'm too excited!!

When I got the first email this morning, I decided the day that I wanted and focused on that day only, logged on at 3:00 exactly, and went for the first person I could get. I never thought that I should even try for Reneice because I would not likely get her. I really lucked out

The main goal of the consultation for me is just to get on their books and become an official client. You may end up getting your hair done by any of the stylists

I went yesterday and almost talked myself out of going because I worried that it would be another negative salon experience. I LOVED my experience. I promptly made another appointment with Shannon. She is a sweetie, so warm and open! The salon is extremely clean, ladies are so professional and knowledgeable and each has a private room for clients. I loved the privacy and there was zero wait time! Shannon only did a section of my hair in the back because my natural hair was too tangled for her to devote sufficient time to finger detangling all of it (within my allotted time). My hair is medium density but individual fine strands that love to lock around each other. The detangling process is often frustrating for me. Shannon used a pre-treatment on my hair that had that section of hair so soft that a vented brush smoothly slid threw it from root to tip with only a couple pieces of hair in the brush. I was simply stunned! She washed and deep conditioned the section and then blew it dry. It was shiny and soft and filled with body. I couldn't believe that it was my hair. She is confident that she will be able to restore my hair to a very healthy state in a short period of time and feels like my damage is not as bad as I think. I hope that she is right. All I can tell you is that I have not been to a hair salon in about 12 years because I have always hated the "salon experience." It took me 1 hour to get there and it was well worth the drive. I have another appointment in three weeks so that we can promptly start my healthy hair regime. I am very hopeful that 2016 will be the start of a positive upswing for my hair, body and spirit. 2016 is the year of improving and becoming the "best possible version of myself." Can you tell that I am excited? Will keep you all posted when there is something significant to share.

My consult was good. I have some heat damage on my ends from the last time I allowed a stylist to straighten my hair, so I knew I needed a trim. Breon washed/conditioned/detangled and blow dried my hair. She offered to trim it but I wanted to wait and trim on straightened hair. I made an appointment to go back for a flat iron and trim.

Overall a good experience. She was very gentle with my hair, very professional. Not pushy about any services. I trust her to straighten and trim my hair, which is the main thing I was looking for. I live pretty close by so I can definitely see myself being a regular client.

I had my consult with Shamira and she was AMAZING!! She answered all of my questions and I remember years ago after a series of bad weaves I said the next time I weave it will be at Reniece and Co. I have learned a lot about my hair, but there are some things that an amazing stylist can offer that I can't do. A stylist that can slay your real hair and weave is hard to find. I'm too excited to start this journey. I've never really invested in my appearance and this is well worth it. And it's such a blessing that they are literally 20 min away from me. I don't think I will deal with any other stylists in my life between my knowledge and theirs my hair is going to THRIVE

I'm going back in 2 weeks for a wash, treatment, and trim
